Dream actually says that most of the traps, mlg clutches, and plays he does in the manhunts are practiced by him privately before the manhunt just in case he needs to do them or gets a chance to do them in the manhunt itself. It's like studying for an exam. An example was all of the boat clutches he does or the boat parkour play he did in Mahunt vs 3 Hunters Grand Finale. He said he saw those things on reddit and practiced them so he could use them in the manhunt. If you ask me, it makes these plays just as genius as making them up on the fly.

It's obvious that Dream uses many tricks in his video, including editing which he confirmed himself (what you see and hear often a replay from many different attempts) and all of the manhunts are more or less choreographed. Though he manages to keep everyone entertained and always varies and evolves in his traps and tricks which is FASCINATING to watch.🌟 He combines his decent minecraft skills with his editing, advertising and more. He knows what his audience needs and perfectly uses all of that to his advantage.

@Recognition They can't, actually, due to the rooftop portal being broken by TNT. Bad tried when he died first, and when he entered the overworld portal he spawned a new portal somewhere beneath the roof, meaning that the Hunters are still stranded.

The nether roof holds a special place for me cause that was the first manhunt I saw. It was just brilliant because of how confused the hunters were. Although I also really love BBH's lava end trap due to his A+ acting. It was so beautiful
And what about the fireworks trap? He made fireworks and crossbow, and shooted hunters with it in the Stronghold. I don't really remember, in which manhunt it was, but it was really epic!
A trap would imply that the hunters fell into it, but they didn't since they established a camp in the portal room. It was an ambush by Dream, since he came to them rather than waiting for them to come to him.

Also idk if this so considered a trap but he pearl juke bad and hit him to void. Idk if this is also a trap but in 5 hunters rematch he backfired the hunters nether tnt trap and when he used elytra to hit George and sapnap off. Also in 5 hunters finale he used lava on nether portal and bad died from it. Also in the 4 hunters finale rematch he put lava under the nether portal and hit the hunters to the lava.

Killing people with end crystals is actually a really common way of combat in this one anarchy server i used to be in. Almost every battle that involved well equipped people had end crystal battles and if you get under the end crystal you negate the damage so it was a really common way for punishing people one block above you on a hill or something
7:43 my friend executed the sand trap on me, and the crafting tables are not 100% effective in preventing MLG. He had dug the sand pit too deep, which gave me time to notice the crafting tables. Then, holding shift, I water MLG'd like nothing was off

When we where looking at sapnap’s POV while the tnt 🧨 was sent through the end portal and he was falling, I noticed that he tried to throw an ender Pearl, which he probably would have succeeded in landing if it weren’t for bad getting in his way
with the protection 4 iron armor and the nether roof you didnt mention with the squishing trap that the hunters had all diamond and thats why dream used it. because he couldnt kill the hunters normally

"what if you make the walls and the floor out of sponge?" you can still actually mlg on sponge if you can click fast enough. because of the fact that when a sponge collects water once, it becomes wet, allowing you to place another on it without it immediately draining. then again, you could always just use a boat, or a pearl, or pretty much anything else that you can clutch with. 8:34 Ill explain this a little better. Basically, minecraft skins have 2 layers, the outer layer, and the inner one. dreams skin only uses the inner layer, meaning that dream could put something on the outer layer ( in this case, its ants skin) and can hide it until the perfect time via the skin settings in the menu screen.

the first trap dream executed was not the 3 hunters wood trap, but the trap involving a lava pit and dream being in the middle of it standing on one block. How the trap worked: george digs down, and lands into lava. it worked like that, but george used a water bucket to save himself, leading to dream going down and hitting him into the lava where he couldnt escape. george died.
the smart part about the tnt through the end portal is he activated the top part first which lands on the bottom tnt before going through, this allowed him to time the first wave of tnt to send and immediately blow up without them having info that tnt was going to be sent through and for them to avoid the time ticking down, and then the bottom tnt follow suit naturally while the others are blowing up which hits them as they worry about what to do.
I always wondered why dreams friends never had the idea of beating the game themselves instead of killing him. Cause all dream says is that they have to stop “him” from killing the ender dragon.

I always wondered why dreams friends never had the idea of beating the game themselves instead of killing him. Cause all dream says is that they have to stop “him” from killing the ender dragon.
If the dragon dies, Dream wins. Altho it's not stated at the start of every manhunt, it's the underlying rule
