Hew guys, this was absolutely fabulous and incredibly inspiring, although you're giving us a lot of homework for the next months! We can't wait to apply your suggestions and to share with all of you the progress!
It was so much fun to see this consultation from two perspectives, first in the vlog from La Fleur with Anna and Philipp and now here with you Kristina back in Sweden, as you illustrate for us the process you go through to develop and more nuanced design. I'm enjoying the variety and depth of your vlogs. You and Karl are really hitting the ground running with your new channel. Congrats!!!
I love the way you guys talk about everything whether good or bad or funny, it is easy to understand and so endearing. Loved watching the interior design session, was amazed at you drawing over the photo! Learning so much from your different styles and the teamwork with Anna and Philipp.
Sympathise with missing the plane, especially seeing it taxi away. What a jug, what a story, glad it made it to your home. The designs for Anna show your talent and thank you for sharing it with us and look forward to next week.
Oh my goodness just your sketches add so much warmth and dimension to the space!! Anna is going to love your ideas!! And I am still absolutely cracking up over the airport chaos 😂😂😂 I’m sure it was not funny, at all, at the time!! But your husband’s description and your laughter are contagious!! I just love your channel! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and, well, misadventures 😊❤️
Thank you so much! It sure was madness at the airport, but we made it safely back home and now have a great story about the jug! Thank you for watching and following along our adventure!
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re so glad you loved the design breakdown and inspiration photos-it’s one of our favorite parts to share! We’ll definitely include more of this kind of content in future episodes. Stay tuned for more design deep dives! ❤️
I follow Anna & Phillip and now you two. This was great learning the process for designing a room. I think these idea’s will bring so much warmth and personality to this room. ❤ I look forward to seeing more from your videos and life in Sweden.
Thank you so much for following along! 😊 We’re thrilled you enjoyed seeing the design process-it’s always exciting to see how a room’s personality comes to life. ❤ We can’t wait to share more of our adventures and life in Sweden with you. So glad to have you here with us! ✨🇸🇪
I am soooo glad you went to visit Anna and Philip! I love your ideas for their front room. Are you going to encourage them to make radiator covers as you have done? I cannot wait to see what they do with this room. What a beautiful friendship!! Tak!!
Thank you! 😊 We’re so happy we made the trip too-it’s been such a fun collaboration with Anna and Philipp! Radiator covers are definitely a conversation we’ll have where fitting - although, their floor-standing radiators are beautiful! We’re just as excited to see how the room evolves, and we’re so grateful for this wonderful friendship. Tak for your lovely comment! ❤️✨
I love watching your videos and everything in this vlog. Your joy , sense of humour and tips for interior design. You are absolutely amazing! Thank you so much ❤
I really enjoyed this vlog! The continuation of your visit with Philipp and Anna was great fun except for the “illegal” jug incident 😮. I also enjoyed seeing your ideas for their living/family room. It will be interesting to see how they incorporate your ideas with theirs to make this a room they love to use. 🇨🇦
I love this collab. I understand Anna's desire to keep the design authentic to the original style, but they also live in this home and are part of the narrative. Allowing homes to be mausoleums of the past can be problematic, and it is also important to add their voices to the building as they are also part of its history and should also be included. I love Phil's desire for orange especially in the kitchen, bringing forward the colours in Anna's grandmother's beautiful painting. Phil is also an artist; film should not be seconded to the classical interpretation of art. Shake off the pressure of what is seen to be 'traditionally' accepted and embrace all aspects of a home, its people, and how the contemporary spaces interact. No one is perfect, and 'failure' is never 'failure' but a testing of ideas and concepts to bring all elements and personalities together. It can be hard to see the small changes that can make a massive difference when you are so immersed in the larger project. It is so refreshing to see an external person (Kristina and her talent) shine a light to allow spaces to grow and flourish to their full potential; a bit of distance always makes things easier and not a judgment on anyone, as I said mentioned a great collab bringing everyone strengths to the surface. Well done all! : )
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! 😊 We couldn’t agree more-it’s so important for a home to reflect both its history and the people living in it today. Anna and Philipp’s desire to honor the château’s past while weaving in their own story is such a delicate and inspiring balance. And you’re absolutely right-embracing contemporary elements alongside the classical can create something truly unique and full of life. I loved collaborating with them and helping to bring fresh eyes to the space-it’s all about enhancing what’s already there and letting each voice shine. Thank you for recognizing the value of that process and for cheering us all on! ❤️✨
Thanks so much for sharing this! I would’ve never thought of mixing long curtains with blinds with cafe curtains. So helpful! Looking forward for future videos 🙌🏻❤️
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re thrilled you found it helpful-it’s such a fun way to layer and add charm to a space! More tips and ideas coming your way soon-so glad to have you along for the journey! 🙌❤️
I loved the interior design lesson. What good ideas you have! I am sure you will be a very great help to Anna and Philipp because I had sensed that they had reached the point of desperation where it came to choosing furniture for their home. I am sure they will love your suggestions!
Love the airport story! The “art jug” is fabulous and worth it. You are such a gifted designer. Hope Anna is inspired by all the ideas you suggested. Two different types of curtains great idea among your many suggestions.
I’ve started watching you guys after seeing your home on one of Anna and Philipp’s sailing episodes. I really really loved seeing your design process and found this so helpful in designing my own spaces. In particular, the idea to play around with different heights. Would love to see more of these kinds of tips!
I enjoyed the interior design inspiration. We usually, see the finished room, not the discussion and choices behind the design. The ideas come to life with the ✍️ . The color drawing completed it. A chateau today would have modern elements of design. Thank you ❤
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed seeing the process! It’s far from a straight-line process of course, so you need to let go of control in order to make progress ☺️
Thank you for another great vlog. I particularly liked the deeper dive into your design process. I find it so inspiring how you bring in colors from other rooms, mix them so that everything ties together, but not limit yourself to a small palette. Everything feels coherent and yet not repetitive. I'm so excited to see how your projects evolve and I hope to learn a lot from them!
Thank you! 😊 We’re thrilled you enjoyed the deeper look into the design process! Creating coherence without repetition is always a fun challenge, and it’s so rewarding to hear that it resonates with you. We can’t wait to share more as the projects unfold, and we hope you pick up lots of inspiration along the way!
Loved the retelling of the airport debacle. Left no doubt as to how you really felt. Lol! That being said where would you ever see smiling faces on airport security? I think they were just doing their jobs. The vessel ceramic will always bring a story to share now and hopefully in time some retrospective chuckles. Kristina’s design suggestions for Anna and Philip are detailed and marvellous! You know your vocation well.
You are hilarious telling the tsa experience (now that it is over)! We visited our daughter in Dallas, TX a few years ago and she gave me a bar of scented soap in a fancy wrapping for Mother's Day. That soap, aka, unidentified object, caused a search of my entire gym bag and a swab down for explosives. I was asked if I walked on grass while in Dallas. Finally, a supervisor deemed my soap and me not to be a threat. So, my sympathies...especially with your children!!!!
Fantastic episode again this week guys! Your trip really did turn out to be an adventure, poor Kalle having his airport moment that ended with you all missing the flight home ( so many movie scenes flashed thru my mind as you were explaining how it all went down 😂) Although personally I do think that jug was worth it, it’s going to look amazing once Kristina styles it somewhere and now has a fascinating story attached! 😉 Kristina, I love watching you walk us thru the design process, as the way you explain each step simplifies the planning and breaks it down into smaller less intimidating steps. I can see Anna & Phillip really embracing their creative sides much easier and more confidently with your guidance and it’s going to be so much fun watching everything come together. Every week you guys bring more and more interesting content and it’s always unique and refreshing….thank you! 🫶
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re still laughing (and cringing a little) about our airport escapade-glad it gave you some cinematic vibes! 😂 And we agree, the jug was definitely worth it-it’ll have pride of place somewhere special with its new story attached. We're thrilled you enjoy the design walk-throughs-it’s such a fun process to share, and hearing that it helps make things feel less daunting means the world! We’re so excited to see Anna and Philipp’s space come to life-it’s going to be such a rewarding project. Your kind words and support truly keep us going. Thank you for joining us each week-it’s a joy having you along for the ride! 🫶✨
I loved it ❤. In my bathrooms I painted the ceiling a plum color and the walls a light lavender. It makes the room look so much longer then it is. I love it but every room in my home is painted a different color. I think white is boring 😂😂. See you next week I hope ❤
What an absolutely beautiful scheme you have come up with for Anna and Philip, Kristina!! I can't wait to see how they implement your ideas. Your approach was also very instructive for those of us watching at home. Wonderful episode on your channel. Can't wait for the next one. Also, the jug is wonderful!!
Love your ideas for the living room, Krisitina, will be so fun to see it in progress! The pitcher saga takes me back to a trip to Paris. My daughter and I and I bought a unique round olive oil container from Oliviers & Co. on Ile St. Louis. Airport security was quite suspicious and unpacked the very carefully wrapped fragile ceramic vessel, we experienced the same situation as Karl, ended up having to repack the bag and figure out how to fit the container back into its box safely.
Sounds like you also went through a stressful moment! I guess they do their job well - and hats off to them for that - but it does cause a lot of stress on the receiving end! :-)
@@SwedishManorLife The stress starts the moment we enter the airport these days, doesn't it? Oh well....times have changed. Travel still worth it. Honfleur looked beautiful as you drove around, even on a grey day.
Kristina! It must have been so stressful for you, I noticed your emotions even recalling the airport ordeal! Glad all turned out well!❤🤗 Thank you for a great video!
What a frustrating end to what was otherwise a lovely visit, but that story you’ve got from your trip home will be told for years to come & hopefully it will become funnier to you over time. Your design process is very helpful, I can’t wait to see how Phillip & Anna express these steps in that beautiful room.
This was so wonderful to watch your process. I can’t wait to see the room completed. I’m wondering if you considered color drenching using the existing wall color on the bottom and the ceiling? I think it would look incredible.
Thank you! Color-drenching is of course always an option and that would probably make a grand statement in itself, but in this particular case and room, I believe in going the other direction :-)
Love this! You both are very funny :) Also, love the interior design aspect of this. My husband is an interior architect and I work in the photography industry so really inspiring to see!
Thank you so much! 😊 So glad you’re enjoying the humor-we’re just having fun and hoping it comes across! How amazing to have such creative careers between you and your husband-it must make for some inspiring collaborations! Thrilled that we could bring a little extra inspiration your way! ❤️
Definitely e topictures, prints etc. would add so much warmth to their room. Love the fudge colour and rug….love the idea of the 7 steps, it helps to coordinate everything in the room. l am sitting in a small living room and have just realised a set of tables would be great. My friend always buys two tables the same and places them together, piling books, trays etc..on the top. Can’t wait to see what they come up with. 😀🪴🌳
Thank you very, very much for your perfect lesson about design... Your drawings helped a lot to understand It better... Please do more of the se lessons for US!!!
Thank you so much for watching! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We will definitely do more of these - they seem to be appreciated! Maybe we'll even expand and do some more formal and structured courses up ahead! There's plenty of topics to cover!
Great design ideas! One thing I would add for RUclipsrs: Check that the frequency of a lightbulb works with your camera! Some lightbulbs are "nervous" - e.g. when you were in Anna's atelier (workroom), any time your camera caught her overhead light, the whole image began flickering /strobing... I've seen other RUclipsrs go into lamp shops and film with their camera, watching their viewing screen to see which lights would be options.
You never know about light bulbs! It’s when the filming frame rate doesn’t match that of the particular bulb. Usually, it’s not a problem. Sometimes it is. Thing is you can’t change filming frame rate for just one bulb in a random room, and you can’t (usually) turn off the lights 😄 So, the occasional strobe effect makes its way into a video. Might be possible to mitigate in post production…🤔
@@SwedishManorLife It might be easier to change lightbulbs and try around until you find a calm one.😉 You can test it out in your own home for yourself, and see what happens.😊
@@SwedishManorLife LOL! I only thought that, when suggesting lamps for their sitting room, mentioning that might help them make good lightbulb choices.😉
Love the design - the room you designed looks so livable and cosy. Would be a thrill to watch the execution. Also inspired me to introduce some bolder changes in my living space. I enjoyed you designed process thorougly, kudoz 🙂
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re thrilled you enjoyed the design process-it was so much fun to create a space that’s both cozy and liveable! Hearing that it’s inspired you to make bold changes in your own home means the world to us. We’d love to see how it turns out!
I had a similar airport experience because I had a large lizard lapel pin in my suitcase that was extremely realistic. It got me sent to a special room in the back. Your story was hilarious!
I enjoyed learning your process and steps to pulling a room together. Informative and the vlog was entertaining too. Love thrifting and having the camera go a bit slower over the items for sale, will let us follow along. Beautiful!
So glad you mentioned textiles. When I was watching your ‘room chat’ with them, I was yelling at the screen: a big carpet to tie in the colours and get some curtains!!” 😆❤🇨🇦
I wonder if the fact that Anna and Phillip are showcasing their renovations online, is actually holding them back. Also, finishing the jobs that they’ve already started, would clear their heads, and give them chance for some creative freedom.
Sharing renovations online can definitely add an extra layer of complexity-it’s a balance between creating and documenting. But it’s also such a great way to connect with others and draw inspiration. Finishing projects does bring clarity, though, and we’re sure Anna and Philipp will tackle things in their own creative way. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
Creativity comes like a fountain out of your head...... 🙃 "Panta Rhei". I like the inspirations. Wait and see what will ultimately be implemented - very excitnig!
Ugh, sorry about your nightmare at the airport. I don't have an experience as bad as that, but last year, my husband and I went to Belgium and the Netherlands. I also love shopping for antiques, and I found some beautiful, old, thick, hand painted tiles ( among other cute finds). I got pulled aside for extra screening and testing because of the tiles. They were nice about it, but man, is that stressful! Beautiful ideas for Anna and Phil's house. It needs more character and decorating.
So enthusiastic about RUclipsr's interaction. Really enjoyed watching your two family becoming friends. Your taste is exquisite; was wondering about the tables you suggested for under the window's that they don't open as often. The ones flanking the fireplace. How high are those tables? So exciting and happy to have the opportunity to be able to follow you. I've already looking forward to your vedios each week and thank you for them. Just adore you guy's! ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 We’re thrilled you’re enjoying the journey with us! As for the tables, they’re designed to be just below the window line to keep things balanced and functional, especially for windows that don’t get opened often. Can't remember the height off the top of my head. Thank you for watching and for your sweet message!
Love the large pot with tree, it give hight. I will just suggest to put large interior heavy pots on wheels for easy moving and not to scratch the wooden floors.
I love your collaboration with Anna and Phillip and all of your suggestions. Can't wait to see what they come up with from your design ideas. I would love to see the sofa done in another color though, the blue doesn't really work. Had to laugh about the airport and your almost getting arrested!! Glad it all worked out and you're at home. Enjoying your website, glad that you were with Anna and Phillip, so that I found your website. Enjoy your winter. (from Sandi)
Thrilled you found us through Anna and Phillip. Welcome to the channel! 😊 We had such a great time collaborating with Anna and Phillip-it’s always exciting to bounce ideas around and see where they take things! The airport drama was definitely one for the books-happy to be home with the jug safely in tow! Much love!
I think your bowl was meant for mustard seeds. You find a lot of these in the south of Sweden and the ”mortar“, mortelstöten, is a metal sphere (senapskula).
Bienvenue to Frances endless bureaucracy. I would have had some choice colorful words as well. It would have landed me in very hot water. Excellent vlog. Kristina you are worth your weight in gold. Here's to a lifetime friendship 🍾🥂 between the two families and countries!
I love the design elements and the sofa table, but hope the double doors to the adjacent informal lounge would remain more accessible and unobstructed. Could the coffee tables be more centered on the fireplace, shifting the rug and furniture a bit further from those double doors?
that was soooo funny - all is well that ends well - that jug certainly had an interesting history before looks like having been used in rituals and / or by Rudolph Steiner pupils 👍thanks for sharing the interesting designs suggestions, too
I just thought it would be so fun if viewers would send you photos of their homes and you would make suggestions. Regardless of taste, you may suggest to move the sofa to the center of the room, to add a rug... just an idea
Love the toffee colour , I think a coffee table that’s oval or round would look pleasing so not everything has straight lines , there are no straight lines in nature . Lighting is paramount ❤. Great video ps Philip is good with lights with his funk up light the large tree in pot , creates great shadows , love the moss green idea below dado and muted off white beige ceiling .
My favorite Swedish family! I am so sorry you had a difficult trip lol funny story though. Love Kristina’s coat Will she share where she bought it & brand name? 🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Yay! 🤗 Haha the return trip was somewhat stressing, to say the least 😅 but that doesn’t matter - we had a great time visiting Anna & Philipp! The coat i believe is from Zara ☺️
Adore the thought process and the colours are fabulous! So sorry you had a nightmare time at customs and missed your flight. Hope you can look at the effing pot with love now🤣🤣🤣😳😳😳 is it next Sunday yet???
Haha we look at that effing pot everyday now and laugh 😂 I’m afraid it’s not next Sunday just yet - haha - but luckily there’s Patreon to fill some of the gap! 😉
Love the Jug story and thing your ideas for the living room design for A & P is much in. keeping with their style. Maybe just ship your finds in other countries instead of carryon.
The room you are sitting in with the striped wallpaper, do I see a black leather sofa and chair? I loved your striped wallpaper and the wall colour. Could you do a tour of that room. I loved all of the ideas you had for Anna’s and Philips living room and the colours.
Love love love this channel, I binged all of your videos and now I can’t wait for more. Also just a suggestion, you can screen record while drawing on your tablet so you don’t have to hold the camera and draw at the same time. Best wishes for the future 💕💕💕
Thank you! Haha yes, I tried screen recording but it didn’t suit my purpose. It’s difficult then to show the pen and where you’re pointing. But I will use a tripod next time to make things easier ☺️
too funny! things like this always happen over a cheap thrift store buy? my whole house is furnished with these lovely things - good thing i didnt have to go on a plane with any of them i wouldnt want to go to jail over maybe only one or two of them - ha!!
My sympathies regarding the jug..I live in France now (from the UK) and love a brocante or two and Emmaus (Im going on wednesday..woo hoo!). I also had Limoges airport stop and inspect my lead plate which caused a hullaballoo..not as bad as you experienced but it does make one feel like a criminal! akin to smuggling artefacts out of the country! I love that jug though..very odd.
Thank you! 😊 Ah, the joys of brocante adventures and airport security! 😂 Sounds like your lead plate story wasn’t too far off from our jug drama-definitely makes you feel like a rogue art smuggler! 😅 Have the best time at Emmaus on Wednesday-hope you find some treasures! And yes, that jug is wonderfully odd, isn’t it? We couldn’t resist! ❤️
Hew guys, this was absolutely fabulous and incredibly inspiring, although you're giving us a lot of homework for the next months! We can't wait to apply your suggestions and to share with all of you the progress!

Totally Agree 💯!
I love your ideas for Phillip and Anna’s living room. The color scheme you planned will really warm the space up and make it more cozy.
Thank you! Yes, I believe so! ☺️
I like your suggestions. What a transformation. Sorry your jug was a problem, and glad you are now home safe and sound.

Kristina, I love watching you walk us thru the design process, as the way you explain each step simplifies the planning and breaks it down into smaller less intimidating steps.
This was a fascinating process to watch. Love your channel!
We’re so happy that you liked it! ❤️💫🤗
Wonderful suggestions, excited to see where it ends up
Thank you! So are we! 😄🤗
Super awesome how all you youtubers manage to get together to create content for each other’s channels. Epic.
It’s so much fun to create! And it sure puts a smile on us all to hear that you enjoy it!
Thankyou so much for the Design tips. I am inspired to put more interesting things in our home, including more colour
Thank you for watching! 🤗 Happy to inspire!
Thank you for the interior decoration lesson which I found super interesting.❤️🙏
Yay! So glad you enjoyed it! ❤️🤗
Looks so good. Can’t wait to see outcome.
Happy to hear that you like it!🤗
You are an Inspiration to me 🥰!
So great i found you … ! All the best 🍀 Dani
Thank you Dani! That means the world to us! Really! We're so happy you found your way to our little corner of RUclips! Much love!
I loved it ❤. In my bathrooms I painted the ceiling a plum color and the walls a light lavender. It makes the room look so much longer then it is. I love it but every room in my home is painted a different color. I think white is boring 😂😂. See you next week I hope ❤
Yay for team color! 🙏🏻🤗 Thank you for watching! See you next week! 👋🏻
So glad to hear it! Thank you! 🙏🏻🤗
So glad to hear it! Thank you! 🙏🏻🤗
It was! But now, it's just a funny story to tell! Thank you for watching!
@ I know but take care!
What a frustrating end to what was otherwise a lovely visit, but that story you’ve got from your trip home will be told for years to come & hopefully it will become funnier to you over time. Your design process is very helpful, I can’t wait to see how Phillip & Anna express these steps in that beautiful room.
Haha it’s already a funny story to tell 😄 Happy to hear that you enjoyed the design process! 🤗
Inspiring video, thanks for showing your design process 🤩
Thanks for watching! ❤️🤗
How fun to watch your design process
So happy to hear that you like it! 🤗
From a fellow interior designer, great job! Love the over sized ceiling pendant idea. Also love that "illegal" jug. Cheers.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for sharing the process! Very interesting and informative 🥰
Thank you! 🤗
I love the furnishing ideas. Thank you for showing the design process!
Thank you! And thank you for watching!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and that we could spark some ideas!
Loved this so much ❤ furniture and soft furnishes are such an important part of design ❤️🇦🇺
So happy that you like it! ❤️❤️
@@sth.777 We don’t have any issues with our own bulbs. And it’s difficult to change someone else’s bulb in their home because of video flickering ☺️
Really enjoyed your master class in interior design. Wonderful suggestions. Inspiring. 👍👌💖💖
Yay! Happy to hear that! ❤️🤗 Maybe we’ll do some more of those in the future!
Love your ideas . I think we all can take some of those ideas and use them in our homes .
Thank you! Please do! Would be so exciting to see how more of you implement some of the ideas!
I had a similar airport experience because I had a large lizard lapel pin in my suitcase that was extremely realistic. It got me sent to a special room in the back. Your story was hilarious!
Haha! I can really see that play out with a ”lizard” in the bag! 😂
Beautiful! You made the room more interesting and cozy.
Glad you like it! Thank you! 🤗
I enjoyed learning your process and steps to pulling a room together. Informative and the vlog was entertaining too. Love thrifting and having the camera go a bit slower over the items for sale, will let us follow along. Beautiful!
Thank you for watching! Happy to hear you enjoyed it 💫🤗
Really love your ideas for Anna and Philippe. Great taste! And love your channel by the way! ❤
Thank you so much! We're glad you liked it - and the channel!
I really like Philips mood boards, sophisticated and modern
We agree! They’re inspiring!
So glad you mentioned textiles. When I was watching your ‘room chat’ with them, I was yelling at the screen: a big carpet to tie in the colours and get some curtains!!” 😆❤🇨🇦
Haha textiles are KEY to any room! 😄☺️💫
I’m inspired!❤❤❤❤love your ideas!
Yay! Glad to hear it! ❤️🤗
Love the decorating tips
Happy to hear that! There’s so much to say! Impossible to fit in one video!
It is a very one of a kind piece it's so beautiful!
Thank you! We agree!
Loved watching your design ideas. ❤
Thank you! Happy to hear that! 💫🤗
Great design! So inspiring!
THANK YOU!
Loved following your design process ✨
Glad to hear it! ❤️🤗
Always enjoy your vlogs 😊Thank you
Thank you for watching! 💫❤️🤗
Very nice layout
Thank you! 🙏🏻 🤗
I Love dark and moody so much. Love your design.
Yay for dark and moody! 🤗
Bravo pour ces magique idée pour anna et philippe maintenant j attend de voir ce qu ils vont faire j adore vôtre manoir bonjour de france. Laurence
Thank you! It will be exciting, for sure, to see the end result! 🤗
Creativity comes like a fountain out of your head...... 🙃 "Panta Rhei".
I like the inspirations. Wait and see what will ultimately be implemented - very excitnig!
Thank you! Glad to have inspired! 💫🤗
Love the design! Enjoyed the process!
Thank you! 🤗💫
That’s some kind of story you’ve got to tell, too! 😄 It sure is stressful in the moment, especially when the plane is about to leave!
These colors are like an olive tree .Burgundy to pop would be great .Perhaps in a lamp shade or an art piece. As in the beautiful color of a dark olive
Great ideas!
That’s a great suggestion 👍🏻😊
Much love!
I love the jug, really cool shape. I’d have bought it too!
We love it too! 🤗
I think your bowl was meant for mustard seeds. You find a lot of these in the south of Sweden and the ”mortar“, mortelstöten, is a metal sphere (senapskula).
Aha, hm, that might be it! In any case - it looks the part! ☺️
@@SwedishManorLifeEither way it is beautiful!
Bienvenue to Frances endless bureaucracy. I would have had some choice colorful words as well. It would have landed me in very hot water.
Excellent vlog. Kristina you are worth your weight in gold.
Here's to a lifetime friendship 🍾🥂 between the two families and countries!
Thank you so much! 😊 Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, laughter, and maybe just a little less airport drama! 🍾🥂 Cheers!
I love the design elements and the sofa table, but hope the double doors to the adjacent informal lounge would remain more accessible and unobstructed. Could the coffee tables be more centered on the fireplace, shifting the rug and furniture a bit further from those double doors?
Maybe it looks like the double doors would be obstructed, but they really aren't. You'll see as we progress with the project! :-)
Great video, thanks!
Thank you for watching!
that was soooo funny - all is well that ends well - that jug certainly had an interesting history before looks like having been used in rituals and / or by Rudolph Steiner pupils 👍thanks for sharing the interesting designs suggestions, too
It’s an interesting - and beautiful - jug for sure! And now it holds some more history on how it made its way to Sweden 😄
what a great video! absolutely loved it :)
Wow, thank you so much! Happy to have you along the the ride!
Love it, I learnt something
Glad to hear it! 🤗
I just thought it would be so fun if viewers would send you photos of their homes and you would make suggestions. Regardless of taste, you may suggest to move the sofa to the center of the room, to add a rug... just an idea
Great suggestion! We have several ideas lined up ahead on that note! Stay tuned! 🤗
She would need to charge for it though.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
@ Awe!! TY🙏💕
Happy to hear you like it! 💫☺️
The room you are sitting in with the striped wallpaper, do I see a black leather sofa and chair? I loved your striped wallpaper and the wall colour. Could you do a tour of that room. I loved all of the ideas you had for Anna’s and Philips living room and the colours.
Yes, there’s a set of two Chesterfield chairs in that room ☺️ A tour is planned up ahead!
Glad you liked the design concept! ❤️🤗
@@SwedishManorLife can’t wait to see more 🤩
too funny! things like this always happen over a cheap thrift store buy? my whole house is furnished with these lovely things - good thing i didnt have to go on a plane with any of them i wouldnt want to go to jail over maybe only one or two of them - ha!!
love all the suggestions you made for anna and philips living room i hope they take them - cant wait to see what they do.
Glad to hear you liked the design concept! To be continued! 💫🤗
