Damn.. knowingly unknowingly we carry generational memories in our mantras and cultures.

But she herself recommended hs Wilson's translation for studying Rig veda! Which in itself is manipulated! We know how max muller did it! We used to visit Ms. Rupa Bhaty at their home occasionally and our discussion on Astronomy extends till midnight. I used to be a childish listener keeping my mouth wide open to hear the intricacies of astronomical happenings and its correlations explained. The enthusiasm and inquisitiveness of Ms. Rupa Bhaty in her field of research is inexplicable. Though many of her arguments fly over my head, the depth of the subjective knowledge fascinates me. While her work is yet to come in lime light, this seems to be a beginning. Hats off and Good luck.
How can you Hindus let a woman teach your holy scriptures ? @@krishishna6874Even by culture we know it's man made. There are many rishis or drishtas that contributed to Vedas. Apaurusheya means the principles and laws are universal, and not man made. Drishtas, literally the seers are the ones observing it and compiling it for us all.

SWADHITI - not just an axe, it symbolizes the antiquity and continuity of a civilization. This was a mind-boggling episode. There have been many an engrossing and enlightening episode but it is rare to come across one that long after I finished watching was still resonating deep inside. It is the first time that I have heard that even river VOLGA derives its name from proto Sanskrit. Her knowledge and narration steeped in 30 years of study was way beyond the scope of this podcast, this was just a tip of the ice berg. Need more episodes with her.

@@krishishna6874Even by culture we know it's man made. There are many rishis or drishtas that contributed to Vedas. Apaurusheya means the principles and laws are universal, and not man made. Drishtas, literally the seers are the ones observing it and compiling it for us all.

I sincerely hope & request Rupa Bhaty ji to compile all her research papers/knowledge in a books/ebook form for future reference and keep giving lectures, appear regularly in talk shows, visit schools/colleges to talk on this subject, take students to do reasearch/Phd on this origin of all knowlege, ie the vedas/vedangas/arnyakas any many more invaluable gems of true science from the holy lands of Vishwa Guru, Bharath.

In 14 Vidyas there are 4 Vedas( Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas & Upanishads of RigVeda, YajurVeda, SamVeda and AtharvaVeda), 6 Vedangas(Shiksha-Phonetics, Chhanda-Meter, Vyakaran-Grammar, Nirukta-Etymology, Kalpa-Ritual, Jyotish-Astronomy & Astrology) and 4 Upangas- Nyaya, Mimamsa, Itihasa-Purana & Dharma-Shastras.
18 Vidya includes 4 Upvedas (Ayur-Dhanur-Gandharv-Shilp-Veda) alongwith the 14 Vidyas mentioned above.
Besides that there were 64 Kalas.💀

This was a mind-boggling episode. There have been many an engrossing and enlightening episode but it is rare to come across one that long after I finished watching was still resonating deep inside.
It is the first time that I have heard that even river VOLGA derives its name from proto Sanskrit.
Her knowledge and narration steeped in 30 years of study was way beyond the scope of this podcast, this was just a tip of the ice berg. Need more episodes with her.
