She did it because she wanted to. I think she kind of respects Jinx after because she realizes that she grew as a person.
One thing I love about Sevika is she's a soldier and loyal to the cause, and by extension loyal to whoever is best for that cause to succeed at that point in time, whether it's Vander, Silco, or now Jinx
The look jinx gives her sister when vi breaks the gun is the same look vi gives jinx in s1 ep6 when they meet up and jinx goes berserk shooting the firelights. Both a "I dont even know you anymore" kind of look
Okay, I’ve seen this so many times, but I never realized that Caitlin circles back, grabs her malfunctioning gun, and intentionally presses it against Sevika’s chest like “oh, this hurts you? Let’s make sure of it.” Just. Absolutely brutal.
Can we just talk about Caitlyn’s reflexes and fighting skills though? Even without the gun, she can fight up close and dodge Sevika’s attack, an opponent with much more strength, durability, and en enhanced arm. Also props to her quick thinking by using the malfunctioning hextech energy as an advantage to neutralise Sevika! She is a hella smart and strong lady!
In the original league lore, she is trained on hand to hand combat, not only she is a precise shooter. I hope in the coming episodes, her strength and wits are consistent as she will become the Sheriff of Piltover.
I am slightly disappointed with how sevika fought though. We didn't get to see her utilize her slot mechanical arm at all and for some reason keeps on trying to wrestle cait instead of outright taking her down. Probably looking down on her too much or something. If she charged at cait with the same bloodlust as she had with meech, I doubt the fight would have lasted that long but yet again, we wouldn't get the epic fight scene so I guess it works out in the end.
@kyleco9185 I think Sevika would've had it if not for the Hextech glitch though. Cait never got a single hit on Sevika. It was a pretty one sided fight until the hextech corruption thing. Pretty sure Sevika went down the way she did because she has some sort of Hextech scarring from the first season when she lost her arm. Look at when Cait holds the gun to Sevika, the gold lightning attaches to Sevika's face.
@teemo6544 I feel we saw different fights here. It looked VERY one-sided in Sevika's favor all the way up until the Hextech glitching move. Cait didn't get a single hit on Sevika the whole fight. Pretty sure Sevika was affected by the glitching because she has some sort of hextech scarring (the blue scars on her face from when powder blew her up). Otherwise I don't think Cait would've walked away from this one.
Caitlyn is an excellent shot, by her own admission. But, before Vi forces her gun to the ground, we see her miss twice. Just enough to make us doubt if she could actually neutralize Jinx without harming Isha.
Vi could just have pulled Isha off Jinx with her strength if it was an issue. It's all because Vi has messed everything up by feeling sorry for Jinx again. I don't blame Cait for being furious.

When they’re face to face fighting in Jinx’s eyes it’s a loud how fucking could you we’re done rage vs Vi is rage. Like I can’t even explain the two different eye emotions on them. You can tell neither want this but the anger is there as well as Vi basically betraying “everyone” by becoming an enforcer. Jinx still shows betrayed, hurt, rage, and disbelief while vi really just looks like she doesn’t even know herself anymore This was a beautiful fight
I swear if isha dies im gonna burn piltover to the ground Edit: Gentleman and ladies I have just watched the new episode and... Isha... has died it is time to burn piltover to the ground
Initially in the trailers I did think she was gonna die in the show but generally at this point I’d be surprised if they did because it’s just to obvious. But her getting kidnapped or something to get Jinx to do something I wouldn’t be surprised.
Man, walking into the series, I already knew Vi and Jinx were rivals and hope to see their full confrontation by the end of season 1. Now that I have it, I don’t wanna see them fight each other anymore. These fight scenes while really well made and cool, are so so tragic
Look I know Kait is grieving the loss of her mother but to go to the point of nearly shooting a child and then shooting your girlfriend when she stops you from sending another bullet near said child's direction should be a walk up call
Vi didn't want to kill Jinx but she would've, the fact her punches were breaking pillars shows she was swinging with full force, Jinx just happened to be a faster and smaller target. Plus she did care about the kid in S1. She was trying to make Jayce feel better since it was an accident, Isla would NOT be an accident. Cait's bullet would've penetrated and killed both of them and Vi would NEVER crush a kid because she sees all kids in the undercity as the same as Powder. Had Isla not been there either she would've let Cait finish the job or done it herself because Jinx was too far gone in her eyes but it was STILL powders body and its hard for her to crush Powder
I can’t even imagine how painful it’d be to handle the glitching weapons. Caitlyn and Vi adapted to it very quickly, while Sevika was letting out the most painful scream she’d given in the series.
1:42 Jinx was glitching with speed here, i wonder if thats just to display her emotion at that moment or smth weird actually happened to her Its just a weird choice of effect for mere emotion as throughout the series it was clear that vi was the better boxer, yet she still struggles against an unarmed jinx even with her gauntlets
the way Vi doesn't hit Jinx without hesitation, but rather tries to stop her blows and slow her down, like the older brothers always do with the little ones when they fight, the little one gives everything and the eldest restrains him to not hurting
It's interesting how many people saw this as everybody truly had intent to kill during this fight. Idk but despite Vi's or even Jinx's words, i felt they were subconsciously holding back, especially Vi. Her facial expression alone during the fight gave a look of doubt and sadness above the anger. And fortiche has been very detailed and deliberate with the animation of even the smallest details of body language, etc. down to the muscle twitches of characters, so the facial expressions say a lot.
cait doesn’t deserve the hate she’s getting in some of these crappy comments. her feelings and actions are valid here when you really consider what she’s been through. and she wouldn’t have hit isha. i don’t blame her for leaving vi after this.
Listen I love jinx, but there was no way she was going to win against Vi in close quarters like that. She just isn't built for fighting up close even with shimmer, she could win against Cait on her own though, also she literally wanted vi to kill her, and then take the whole city down with them. Isha stepped in and stopped her plans. Much like Jinx did for Silco.
0:40 One more thing, and I feel like people should be talking about this a bit more: That gun's name is "PowPow." The same nickname Vi called Jinx back in season 1 when they're reunited. It's like Vi herself is burying Powder, refusing to see Jinx as the sister she once loved.
So much happened here -poetic fight -sister vs sister -enforcer (cait) vs undercity (sevika) -symbolic music -music seems to go against the fighting -hextech malfunction from jayce, ekko, & heimendagar -vi's emotional eyes -jinx has no remorse in her eyes -caitlyn's rage against jinx -jinx's picture of vi and powder being together but getting destroyed Epic
Funny thing is, regardless if Cait missed or not, Isla would very likely be dead since pentration is a thing and their heads were pressed together so if she killed jinx she likely would've killed isla too
Yeah but can see in the scope that Cait shot VI shoulder instead to make her move and not shoot the head , so cait was right she wouldn't miss and hit the kid she woul've gone for the belly
2:46 look at the base of the scope, that wasn't a warning shot, vi stepped forward and got clipped which saved both of them. Cait wasn't aiming center mass she was aiming for head shots
Reality is warping. Vi & Caitlyn: What is this? What's happening? Meanwhile Jinx: It's not a problem. My reality is all warped. 2:03 that was for Sevika. In season 1. Damn!
It’s a small detail but I liked that Vi had a shield that covered her whole body It always annoys me when characters have a shield out but their legs aren’t protected and the other character shooting doesn’t go for the legs The shield that Vi had makes sense
What's important to note is this fight is Vi vs Jinx from the end of Season 1. Fully accepting of her Jinx persona, just an evil villain. After this, she rejects her Jinx identity and is focused on healing and being a good older sister. This opens her up to being friendly with Vi again.
When I was saying, Cait and Jayce are child killers who are the real villains of this story people said I was wrong. Even the shittiest villians wouldnt kill a kid.
I hate that people think Cait missed. She wasn't going to hit Isha, Vi just didn't trust her and blocked the shot. Also Cait didn't just want to blindly kill Jinx because when she saw Vi had the upper hand she lowered her gun showing she would take Jinx alive if possible. Whole thing may have been avoided if Vi trusted Cait. Honestly I don't think Vi thought Cait would miss and hit Isha, I think she saw Powder in Jinx for a split moment and didn't want to traumatize Isha.
- Cait misses and hits Jinxs finger - Cait is enraged and wasnt thinking - Cait had an opportunity to shoot jinx when Vi was pinning her down but she didnt - she did want Jinx dead, she literally shoots constantly every time she sees her, she stopped because she was probably letting Vi do it, which is stupid, Vi would never punch her sister to death... - the kid was literally blocking jinxs head, it would have killed both the child and Jinx. It wasnt a matter of just missing
@sofiabruiz17 Cait shot Jinx's hand to help Vi like did at the memorial. Also if you look through Cait's scope she was going to shoot through Jinx's body and not head. Cait is anything but inaccurate. Vi had a change of heart about killing Jinx when Isha tried to protect her.
@@anthonyroberts7486 Cait has been telling Vi she was gonna kill her for ages now and we see in all her scenes how thats her intrntion, she even asked for permission from Vi knowing Vi couldnt do it herslef. She knows Vi wouldnt kill her and she had to do it. She missed, she was acting on impulse. And had plenty of opportunities. Her waiting for Vi to punch Jinx to death is stupid and nonsensical. Cait is nothing but innacurate WHEN she is thinking straight, she clearly isnt and her missing is a sign of that. And? The kid was basically in the way. You would still have to shoot through both of them. It's a hextech weapon
Can anyone explain what does this hextech sniper caitlyn use do different than normal sniper? Is it more accuracy? And stronger impact? Does it shows when the bullet go trough the big metal plates whiles when vi use it to counter jinx, jinx’s shots didnt went trough?
Vi could have pulled Isha off Jinx with one hand and held Jinx down with the other. She stopped Caitlin because she had a change of heart, not because there was no way for Caitlin to get a clear shot at Jinx.

Jinx still shows betrayed, hurt, rage, and disbelief while vi really just looks like she doesn’t even know herself anymore
This was a beautiful fight
what are they feeding fortiche animators
Shimmer and hextech with a little bit of cracks for flavor
I’m hoping money, because THEY DESERVE IT MY GOD
time
Cocaine
Money and actual work life balance I’m guessing
I swear if isha dies im gonna burn piltover to the ground
Edit: Gentleman and ladies I have just watched the new episode and... Isha... has died it is time to burn piltover to the ground
That’s not the way…
Think bigger.
Initially in the trailers I did think she was gonna die in the show but generally at this point I’d be surprised if they did because it’s just to obvious. But her getting kidnapped or something to get Jinx to do something I wouldn’t be surprised.

Oh my god, the transition into an animated poster! Am I watching Arcane or a Genshin Impact demo?
This looked SO SMOOTH!
2:07 Damn, that is an Arcane shot.
Caitlyn is a monster and deserves whatever comes her way.
even jinx didnt do that and she lost like four parental figures 😭
If Jinx is madness and Vi is grief then Kait is hatred.
@@Tanuki_Tales like Jinx
@@cheese_yratjinx is way more evil
I wish it was the full scene uncut. The music building up as the battle starts and intensifies as it goes on is such an amazing display of cinema
Notice how Jinx yells NO when Isha points the gun at Vi 😢she still cares
Actually... She screamed NO when Isha stepped in front of the moment Vi was going to finish her (she planned to die there)
Actually... She screamed NO when Isha stepped in front of the moment Vi was going to finish her (she planned to die there)
I can’t even imagine how painful it’d be to handle the glitching weapons. Caitlyn and Vi adapted to it very quickly, while Sevika was letting out the most painful scream she’d given in the series.
1:15 automatic goosebumps. How masterful
1:42 Jinx was glitching with speed here, i wonder if thats just to display her emotion at that moment or smth weird actually happened to her
Its just a weird choice of effect for mere emotion as throughout the series it was clear that vi was the better boxer, yet she still struggles against an unarmed jinx even with her gauntlets
It's shimmers effect on her I think
Is the shimmer ability she got, in the end of season one happened as well
No no guys, she used Galeforce active.
She gets stronger the angrier she gets
So if the fight continued longer, she would've seriously outmatched the gauntlets with her own raw strength
Just anime stuff
the way Vi doesn't hit Jinx without hesitation, but rather tries to stop her blows and slow her down, like the older brothers always do with the little ones when they fight, the little one gives everything and the eldest restrains him to not hurting
It's interesting how many people saw this as everybody truly had intent to kill during this fight. Idk but despite Vi's or even Jinx's words, i felt they were subconsciously holding back, especially Vi. Her facial expression alone during the fight gave a look of doubt and sadness above the anger. And fortiche has been very detailed and deliberate with the animation of even the smallest details of body language, etc. down to the muscle twitches of characters, so the facial expressions say a lot.
cait doesn’t deserve the hate she’s getting in some of these crappy comments. her feelings and actions are valid here when you really consider what she’s been through. and she wouldn’t have hit isha. i don’t blame her for leaving vi after this.
she is the worst character for me. i know i am biased but i just hate everything about her.
I dunno how Riot are so good at making fights look like a music video and cinematic at the same time, but they’ve mastered the craft
This 2v2 went crazy
Jinx and Vi cat fighting while Caitlyn was struggling to survive lmao
2:13 i love this frame
Jinx was winning until cait shot🫤
no lmao. gaining the upper hand once ≠ victory
@@onlyone3241 Thats what happens when your jungler peeled enough time for the AD carry to come and snatch the kill
No, Vi was going to free herself from Jinx anyway, as Jinx only held her and threw little punches, só Vi was going to win anyway.
Nah that kid had to save Jinx
Listen I love jinx, but there was no way she was going to win against Vi in close quarters like that. She just isn't built for fighting up close even with shimmer, she could win against Cait on her own though, also she literally wanted vi to kill her, and then take the whole city down with them. Isha stepped in and stopped her plans.
Much like Jinx did for Silco.
0:19 warzone mark enemy sound
0:40 One more thing, and I feel like people should be talking about this a bit more: That gun's name is "PowPow." The same nickname Vi called Jinx back in season 1 when they're reunited. It's like Vi herself is burying Powder, refusing to see Jinx as the sister she once loved.
BRUTALLY passionate from the music to the animation. These people are damn talented and every single high stakes scene gives you goosebumps. Just wow
So much happened here
-poetic fight
-sister vs sister
-enforcer (cait) vs undercity (sevika)
-symbolic music
-music seems to go against the fighting
-hextech malfunction from jayce, ekko, & heimendagar
-vi's emotional eyes
-jinx has no remorse in her eyes
-caitlyn's rage against jinx
-jinx's picture of vi and powder being together but getting destroyed
Epic
The way the intercut these scene with Jayce and Viktor really was to its loss
Funny thing is, regardless if Cait missed or not, Isla would very likely be dead since pentration is a thing and their heads were pressed together so if she killed jinx she likely would've killed isla too
Yeah but can see in the scope that Cait shot VI shoulder instead to make her move and not shoot the head , so cait was right she wouldn't miss and hit the kid she woul've gone for the belly
2:46 look at the base of the scope, that wasn't a warning shot, vi stepped forward and got clipped which saved both of them. Cait wasn't aiming center mass she was aiming for head shots
I love how you can feel the killing intent with every movement. This fight is too real
I really love how the fighting switches between dynamic and struggle. It's a visual masterpiece.
2:28 If Vi really wanted, Jinx would die right there.
2:00 Interesting detail with how the scars she received from the initial Hex bomb back in season 1 are reacting to the stuttering of the arcane.
Ella Purnel lost her finger again
😂
man talk about being on the edge of your seat. this show does not hold back. i love it.
The best animated fight scene I have ever seen.
Watch the rise of teenage mutant ninja tortles vs shredder
Ella's always losing her fingers 😭
Please Riot make Sevika a playable champion
I finally understand why it took them 3 years to make season 2.❤😢
Cait screaming in pain is awesome
Jinx is even better😂
Jinx finger lost is even better
After how excellently season 1 was made, I had no doubt that this moment would be stellar. I was still completely blown away.
The pure unbridled rage from Jinx in this fight is insane, it's not till Isha comes in to save Jinx that she realizes what she has to live for
This season's animation went so hard
This fight is Amazing 🔥🔥
Absolutely beautiful fight. It really shows how powerful Jinx is now. She’s finally as strong as Vi is like she always wanted
Reality is warping.
Vi & Caitlyn: What is this? What's happening?
Meanwhile Jinx: It's not a problem. My reality is all warped.
2:03 that was for Sevika. In season 1. Damn!
how did you manage to keep your video from being blocked by copyright?
This song man
Just goddam
The choir
Can't wait for act 5
2 bruisers going against 2 ADC, accurate
It’s a small detail but I liked that Vi had a shield that covered her whole body
It always annoys me when characters have a shield out but their legs aren’t protected and the other character shooting doesn’t go for the legs
The shield that Vi had makes sense
I love how good they were at conveying how feral and animalistic Jinx was in her fighting movements
what a masterpiece animation
Jinx: We We're Sisters Once
Vi: Once
Gotta give it, I love jinx's angry shimmer teleport attack.
best fight in history
We finally get to see their look from the game
I wonder if the Hextech glitching out was more wide spread… I hope the Hexgate hub wasn’t active during this…
Jinx is like a bronze adc who goes melee into a fight.
The song in 0:43 ....does anyone know?
To ashes and blood
To ashes and blood
Thank's!!!
To Ashes And Blood
Ashes and blood seach up arcane themes, they are all masterpieces
What's important to note is this fight is Vi vs Jinx from the end of Season 1. Fully accepting of her Jinx persona, just an evil villain. After this, she rejects her Jinx identity and is focused on healing and being a good older sister. This opens her up to being friendly with Vi again.
When I was saying, Cait and Jayce are child killers who are the real villains of this story people said I was wrong. Even the shittiest villians wouldnt kill a kid.
There is no man better than Woodkid to make this soundtrack.
Seeing them trying to kill each other, and the quickly seen doodle of them when they were children
That made me cry so much 😭
I hate that people think Cait missed.
- Cait misses and hits Jinxs finger
- Cait is enraged and wasnt thinking
- Cait had an opportunity to shoot jinx when Vi was pinning her down but she didnt
- she did want Jinx dead, she literally shoots constantly every time she sees her, she stopped because she was probably letting Vi do it, which is stupid, Vi would never punch her sister to death...
Peak fiction
Can anyone explain what does this hextech sniper caitlyn use do different than normal sniper? Is it more accuracy? And stronger impact?
Does it shows when the bullet go trough the big metal plates whiles
when vi use it to counter jinx, jinx’s shots didnt went trough?
It think it makes the bullets faster strong and makes it even better for longer distances.
VI: Jayce, the child is bad 😅
VI: Caitlin, this is chid 😅
0:41 did you notice the wire makes her signature creepy smile?
Bro este clip xfa hazlo en 4k, xfa ❤❤
This one episode is animated just as good if not better than entire Pixar movies
Vi could have pulled Isha off Jinx with one hand and held Jinx down with the other. She stopped Caitlin because she had a change of heart, not because there was no way for Caitlin to get a clear shot at Jinx.
