Ah yes, Fable 2, the odd one out of the series… not because it’s bad mind, easily my favorite one, it’s just that Microsoft always seems to forget that it exists for some reason
It's middle-child syndrome. Original is the first born, the one to make the family proud, 3 is the baby who can do no wrong, and 2 is "That one over there? I think that's Jeff. What's your name again honey?"
I'd just consider that spell as a one use key. You're not using it for any of its intended purposes, and it's discarded after it opens the door. I think this instance should be an exception to the rule.
That’s literally how I played it the first time. I was... way below the required age to play and didn’t know a lot of the mechanics... like improving skills I think I didn't even change my gear besides using the "equip" option when opening a container
Sounds like me the first time I played Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I kind of just wandered around to random places, button mashing my way through combat, and got stuck at the first dremora spellcaster because I couldn't work out that I could strafe left and right to avoid his fireballs (didn't help I insisted on using axes despite choosing blade in character creation). I came back to the game years later after my brother gave me his GOTY edition copy and suddenly it all clicked. Come to think of it, I think Oblivion was my first taste of "real" RPGs after the Paper Mario games.

Brilliant and really does out the flaw of following up a game with moral choices that effect plots. 3:42 - Interesting to get an answer so soon. Glad you kept the video going after though; plenty more entertainment to be had. 5:55 - Well this truly showcases that you are playing the evil route yet again, although landlord might be a step above that. 8:17 - The elegantly dressed demon with a shotgun was already a hilarious line but your example of how good the shotgun was furthered the hilarity. 14:58 - That is an interesting to consider. I did wonder if there was perhaps a way to glitch pass that one magic required moment but perhaps finding a way to be knocked out is a solution with no glitch required. 19:17 - The image here of your character continuously being electrocuted, not having a care in the world and the Commandant just repeating the same action over and over again is hilarious. 25:45 - This is why my brother despises Reaver, despite otherwise finding the character entertaining. Barnum was liked more. 28:10 - Again, another terrific line. It also makes sense why Lucius aims to kill you straight away; you have no EXP to give him.
