Jensen's speech is something only he is qualified to give because he lived every word; hope the graduates really appreciate it, afterall CalTech graduates are supposed to be the best of the world. Jensen's and Nvidia's history are the epitome of this age, their success is the fruit of all that he mentioned in his speech, not just empty words of encouragement but words out of his experiences. Worth more than gold!

I wished I had bosses like him in my 40 year career in technology and in middle management. Im 58 yrs old and now unemployed almost 2 years but being grateful everyday for the existence of Jensen and his company Nvidia for making me a millionaire in 2024. His story about the dedication of the Japanese gardener resonates with me. When I lived in Japan for a long time, I saw a number of Japanese artisans just like that. I disagree that accelerated computing was their 1st contribution to society. Their 1st contribution was accelerated 3D graphics, which gave us all the XBoxes, Playstations, and gaming PCs up to this date.

He was born in taiwan but he is not really Taiwanese. He is American with Taiwanese heritage. He attended a third rate university, Oregon State. If he attended a third rate university in taiwan, he would still be a low level engineer right now. Taiwan culture like all of Asia values the university reputation more than anything else. NTU, Tsinghua, Seoul National, Univ of Tokyo, Singapore National U, Univ of Hong Kong.
