Food is really good though. But infrastructure is terrible. Moscow - one of the oldest city, but soviets ruined it with large 8 lines roads at the middle of the city. They destroed a lot of historical buildings. To walk in the center, you need to spend a lot of time to find a place where you can walk onto another side of a road.
I thought Moscow in May 2018 was fantastic. The people, the culture, the history, the monuments, the museums. What a beautiful city! I will visit again next year and every year after that. I can’t argue about the northern states, since I travel mainly to the southern (Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Utah, Colorado, California, Nevada). There the temperature is mostly 90-120 Fahrenheit (+ 30-40 C). You can come to rest and myself check the sun almost every day, but there are often tornadoes. i’m Russian American, both of my parents were born in Russia but lived in US from an early age. Still though, to them and all of my family Russia is a gorgeous gem. I went to school in Russia, specifically in Siberia, for 7 years and I have never felt so free and alive before. All of my Russian friends in US only talk about their next visits to Russia, and so do I. And now while going to an American HS i’m just shocked by the education system, it’s so dumb. As a proud American i blame America. We are the dominate world power and a lot of our power comes from reputation. Our government fears countries like Russia and China because they have the potential to challenge us on the global stage. So they spread propaganda portraying these countries as our enemies. Say what you will about Donald Trump but he is doing a lot to bridge the divides created by past regimes. Humans are naturally divisive and its our greatest weakness as a species. Russia has suffered immensely because America and its allies have pushed Russia into economic isolation. We need to forget about the Cold War and become a close ally with Russia. It would be mutually beneficial.

I have a story to share When i was in moscow last day i dont have rubbles i had dihram(uae currency) The taxi driver took me to 3 different exchanges and non of them took aed for rubbles so my driver didnt charged me anything it was around 40minutes drive i cant and will never forget that helpfull gesture of a guy who was driving a car If you are hearing this Thank you

Moscow is better. Saint petersburg is also good. But russia is not like them. Moscow is russia but is the best of russia. Other places are not so nice. Take omsk. It is an okay place but it is filled with high rised building, and we cannot build them properly and they look disgusting. Russua is transforming back to building good architecture, like in moscow they are getting rid of soviet building and they are bulding more russian buidling
@@_quit_2507 No, I don't think that Moscow is the best of Russia. Southern cities are much better. Especially, Sochi and Kislovodsk. Clean, warm and green cities. And if to compare Moscow with big Russian cities, St Petersburg and Kazan win. Because of countless fires architecture of Moscow is too diverse. I believe it is disadvantage. While St Petersburg and Kazan saved most of their historical centre.

Food is really good though. But infrastructure is terrible. Moscow - one of the oldest city, but soviets ruined it with large 8 lines roads at the middle of the city. They destroed a lot of historical buildings. To walk in the center, you need to spend a lot of time to find a place where you can walk onto another side of a road.

I can’t argue about the northern states, since I travel mainly to the southern (Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Utah, Colorado, California, Nevada). There the temperature is mostly 90-120 Fahrenheit (+ 30-40 C). You can come to rest and myself check the sun almost every day, but there are often tornadoes. I almost got carried away in Texas, but it's a long story.
I was there in 2021. Moscow is an incredible city with breathtaking architecture, vibrant and full of energy. The video I just watched would leave anyone in awe. From Portugal with love.

i’m Russian American, both of my parents were born in Russia but lived in US from an early age. Still though, to them and all of my family Russia is a gorgeous gem. I went to school in Russia, specifically in Siberia, for 7 years and I have never felt so free and alive before. All of my Russian friends in US only talk about their next visits to Russia, and so do I. And now while going to an American HS i’m just shocked by the education system, it’s so dumb. And people blindly shout how everything is fine there and I have an ass in the city, although in fact I am cozy and safe, and on the Chinese side, tiles from a house that was demolished 2 days ago may fall on you. I truly enjoy my time in Russia, thanks to all my brothers come from Russian. I met a lot of them in Dubai. They give me a lot of tips of visiting Russia. Their hospitality makes my time in Russia much more unforgettable.
Moscow looks like a fairytale. I’m kinda jealous that a lot of Russian have been living here for a long time, hahaha. They must have been enjoying it! As a proud American i blame America. We are the dominate world power and a lot of our power comes from reputation. Our government fears countries like Russia and China because they have the potential to challenge us on the global stage. So they spread propaganda portraying these countries as our enemies. Say what you will about Donald Trump but he is doing a lot to bridge the divides created by past regimes. Humans are naturally divisive and its our greatest weakness as a species. Russia has suffered immensely because America and its allies have pushed Russia into economic isolation. We need to forget about the Cold War and become a close ally with Russia. It would be mutually beneficial.
My grand father was from Russia, im born in Denmark. I wanna go home, back to the roots. I have never been in Moscow, but i miss this place so much.

When i was in moscow last day i dont have rubbles i had dihram(uae currency)
The taxi driver took me to 3 different exchanges and non of them took aed for rubbles so my driver didnt charged me anything it was around 40minutes drive i cant and will never forget that helpfull gesture of a guy who was driving a car

Moscow is better. Saint petersburg is also good. But russia is not like them. Moscow is russia but is the best of russia. Other places are not so nice. Take omsk. It is an okay place but it is filled with high rised building, and we cannot build them properly and they look disgusting. Russua is transforming back to building good architecture, like in moscow they are getting rid of soviet building and they are bulding more russian buidling

No, I don't think that Moscow is the best of Russia. Southern cities are much better. Especially, Sochi and Kislovodsk. Clean, warm and green cities.
And if to compare Moscow with big Russian cities, St Petersburg and Kazan win. Because of countless fires architecture of Moscow is too diverse. I believe it is disadvantage. While St Petersburg and Kazan saved most of their historical centre.
