Not to mention the fact that the calibration on the main thruster as well as the RCS is incredibly precise to not only drastically reduce re-entry velocity but also maneuver a cylindrical unmanned craft into the supporting structure of a launch pad. The boring but important test afterwards was being able to remount the booster on the launch mount and test the connector reconnecting to the booster which would in the future be used to refuel and theoretically be ready to launch again in an hour. If they can have a launch cadence like that, the cost of launching heavy payloads into space would drop dramatically making dreams of what we could do in space that died after the Apollo and Space Shuttle missions into eventual reality.
This is what humanity yearn for, everyone gather under the same goal to explore the new world. Like in seafarers' age, now we're on spaces exploration campaigns.

@@Gerald-ky1sq re entry & reuse of a rocket booster was never done until SpaceX started trying to make it a reality back in 2010-2015 (their first successful rocket landing was in 2015/2016 I don't remember exactly. But yes that saves a TON of money because every launch costs millions & the rockets usually just get either sent straight to the ocean or left in space to desintegrate without causing damage to anything on earth. This rocket landing thing that they started since 2015 has enabled the US & NASA to be able to start sending their astronauts straight from the US (not having to work with Russia to send them), so yes it is a huge deal. The rocket booster that they were able to land so far was much smaller than this one & only used for Falcon 9 rocket which is mostly used for carrying equipment to the ISS or 4 man crews etc. this rocket on the other hand is designed to take A LOT more people into orbit/other planets that's why they are working on making it fully reusable (there are also potential plans to use it to replace planes (country to country travel, not just space), its speed will turn the 12 hour flights into 30 minutes travel at the longest. That is why this booster landing success is such a big deal. Oh yeah & let's not forget the future moon landing (contracted by NASA) supposed to be happening in 2026 or later which will use this rocket Again, the only company able to land rockets (in such a consistent manner while at it) is SpaceX = saving millions per flight, which is why they are now getting pretty much all space contracts 😂
