If this is successful, then we will definitely be getting a live action Shrek movie at some point. And I don't think the internet will ever be ready for that.
@@paulbrown9328 I was actually literally thinking of him in his traditional ogre form just for laughs 🤣, but if we're talking about his human form with the Happily Ever After potion from Shrek 2, that would be pretty genius 🤔
One of the directors from the animated movie is actually the same one directing the live action, that’s probably why toothless looks like he’s straight out of the animation . The director I’m talking about is Dean DeBlois
That's why I'm rather calm about the making of the movie considering they brought him back, which is something that it has in it's favor, compared to Disney's which didn't had its original animators
Between the original's art direction and lessons learned over the years, especially with Sonic, that's about as good and accurate a live action Toothless is going to get.
I must say, after pondering a lot of thought into it, I'd say its looking very-well done from the direction and aesthetic that's very reminiscent of Berk, ans the beautiful landscape from Northern Ireland. Also, its great that many of the set pieces are done practically, as well as the dragons looking somewhat colorful. And of course, Toothless looking phenomenally done 👍🏻. While I do question the need of it being made, I'm glad that the main filmmaker of the trilogy, Dean DeBlois, is helming it. And if there's a dimension from the movie that he wants to explore here, then I'm interested in it 👍🏻
So now we're remaking movies that were several years old and doing them live action. I just came across this trailer on a whim and thought why. However it does seem to be a point for point remake of the original so maybe it'll be good.
I think making the Dragon look identical to the animated version was a huge mistake, the uncanny valley is hitting HARD. But then making this movie at all was a huge mistake in the first place. They're just reinforcing the conception that animation is somehow an "inferior" medium to live action.
@@tsc2121 That's the same opinion I had with Mulan, so don't get your hopes up. Also, the fact that you're willing to watch a needless live-action DW remake further proves how hypocritical the same standards apply.

So true
Starring Henry Cavill 😂
@@Merdicanobro Henry Cavill as human shrek would actually go hard.

Toothless looks FLAWLESS!! Again Andre reacts like all of us nerds do 😅
Toothless looks so cute😊
I feel like i finally know what a real night fury would look like. And now i want one.
Not gonna lie, this does look good. And yes, Toothless looks good and even adorable, the more I look at him. 😊
Toothless just got a new texture pack😂

The father is the same person and voice actor to the cartoon also!!

Does anyone want this? I loved the trilogy but I don't think I care about this.
This is just the original movie with rtx enabled and actors pretending a dragon is there
Bro we need more live actions like this, cause this is the quality we should be getting
Omg I laughed so much we you said that about the Minions🤣
Did this really need a live action?
No, but that's just the way now sadly 😞
Technically, we don’t need any movies. Watch what you want and don’t watch what you don’t want.
Had no idea this trailer existed until this short popped up in my notifications :P

Nice! 😀👍🏽 I’ve seen the original animated film back when it first came out in theatres in 2010! 😀👍🏽
Toothless is adorable 😍
Awesome job Andre drop a like for yoh
Toothless looks so good, he is always cute! Watching movies is always fun, it'll be interesting to see if this movie is successful.

"Several years old" The original will be 15 years old by the time this is out
We better be getting a every single one of these movies in live action they can't not just make the first one!!
Hiccup sounds like hiccup😊
hiccup looks so different 🤩🤩
Now I can't stop thinking about a Megamind or Home live action film 🙃
Studios be like "how do you do, fellow kids; remember How To Train Your Dragon? Wanna see the exact same script without the charming art style?
We don’t need a live action version of every successful animated film, we really don’t.
Thank you!🙌
This is going to be like 80% animated anyway.
Dude. Dude . . . Live action Rise of the Guardians.
I didn't ever want this, but it does seem they really want to make it work. I'll wait for your review I think
And in 3D!?! WOW!
Looks perfect
That looks good
I wonder if they make a live action shrek.
Definitely took the toothless from the animation and gave it more detail still excited for this though
My reaction too.. i don’t get why people are knocking this movie
Live action Minions?? You are not right. lol

Starring Henry Cavill 😂
I like it
I'm sorry, HUH?!
I've never seen the original movie, can somebody tell me if it's sad so I can mentally prepare?
This is Dreamworks answer to Disney’s Live Action
So basically DreamWorks is becoming the thing they hate? Good to know that DreamWorks stans are hypocrites when it comes to standards.👍
@ I think the live action remake of how to train your dragon will probably be good
