@@Swingod11 interesting! I wondered if this would get the tarpon or not. I haven’t had the chance to throw it infront of one yet. Thanks for the watch mate!🤙🏼
@@Steve-ev6vx Bass, too? They're so versatile, it's crazy. Also, if you put some scent on it, like Doctor Juice, they work like candy. Also, you got another new sub, by the way!
@@Swingod11 yeah, large mouth, strippers and redfish in the marsh. I usually do better with goby imitation on redfish though. We don't have snook this far north and our tarpon are only migratory. They are either under ten pounds or over hundred, I have never caught one in between. 😂
@@9elalo3000 for most of my redfish catches… I find I catch the reds in the mangroves that are right off of a flat that have sea grass on it. Or I’ll see the reds on that said flat. Depends on the tide. Since winter is approaching, it might be a good idea to use lures that sit on the bottom like a gulp shrimp. I’m gonna test that theory out in my next few trips.
Is this not a copy of the NLBN K-Tail? Does Z-Man also have a version of their mini mullet? How about their screw on jig heads and paddletail bodys and etc.
@@willcordelo3967 my thoughts exactly! Although I wanna say Zman came out with this before NLBN came out with the K Tail. Not quite sure. They both released pretty close to each other. I think Zman’s version of the NLBN mullet would be their Jerk Shad. That one has some crazy action on it as well.
@@fishonkayakadventureYes you can, but it is tricky. You have to heat up the screw lock, but it has to be just right because if it is to hot it will melt the plastic. I learned this when using metal screws for neko rigs on elastec worms.
@@Bsstlb That would work awesomely IMO bc the tail action is different from a normal paddle tail. I’ve seen guys doing that with some other swim baits just like this one and it seemed to work really well.
Nice vids. Also, a 180 drive is a game changer. Im selling a mint one if you're in the market for one. Hmu. Im in Fort Myers but will be in St Pete for a few months.
bro, hit me up. i'm in St pete. Yaks or my boat, we can go knock down some fish. and if you want a big tarpon from your yak, i know exactly where that's possible during the glass minnow run in august.
Zman Mulletron… you have leveled up to the big leagues! Good video my friend. You must try the Mulletron LT giant snook floss their teeth with it 👍🏼
Thank you Captain! That means a lot coming from you! I’ll have to give the LT a go. I need that 40in snook!
No doubt it's the best swim bait. Where I fish they are crazy for catching tarpon. Keep up the awesome vids!

I have been using them for bass and redfish up in the panhandle, hoping to get a crack at a Tarpon next summer, didn't see any this season.

you cannot use screw in hooks or jigs with zman. the elaztec is so stretchy that they simply do not work.
