Dr. Oz is not a great Doctor. He's been a grifter since he got his license to practice medicine. Research a bit deeper and you'll see. Also, when people talk about "lifestyle" that is a dog whistle for "It's your fault you're sick." That is an excuse to cut and spin things as though we don't deserve or need these services. You can anticipate that he will probably institute some very intrusive regulations that violate patient privacy and take away personal choices. He will try to get in-between you and your doctor when it comes to medical decisions. He will probably make it harder to get treatments covered by creating more hoops to jump through. So, let's make damn sure he does NOT get confirmed! Write your Congressmen and tell them to vote NO! (I have a background in patient advocacy, so can see it coming a mile away).
the feds already are in between our doctors and us. with the insurance and the lack of pain control. an the money. I need permission for many medical decisions and so do you.
This. This is what scares me more than all of the rest of the issues we are facing or may possibly face in the future. My husband is disabled, & even with what Medicare is like right now, there are still services he needs that aren't covered. My worry over Medicaid is even larger. My oldest child is in remission from cancer. I found out Medicaid may be dropping the hospital she receives treatment through next year. Why are they dropping it? Because it's a non-profit hospital, so no money to be made. This hospital offers a new form of radiation therapy that is much less harmful on patients. Because of this, my daughter won't have to live in constant fear that every new freckle or blemish is in fact a new form of cancer caused by regular radiation therapy. If her cancer comes back, she's not going to have access to this form of treatment now. Money is king, & fuck everything & everyone else, I guess.
It would cost me close to $600./mo for straight Medicare. When you retire on $1300./mo, how should I live? Soc Sec hasn't been touched since Reagan. COLA of 3% and then raise Medicare $10. Like my son says.."no one gives a Shite about old people.
Social Security is supposed to keep people out of poverty after 35 years of work. How does a lifelong worker have only 1300 a month and own nothing else? Especially the boomer class. The issue is we are a very fat and unhealthy country. Most people can exist on the median SS check if they move out of HCOL areas. It's not a retirement plan and never was.
We already pay into Medicare and Soc Sec in FICA. Each check takes out approx 7% for Soc Sec And 3% for Medicare out of each check. Matched exactly by our employer So it is 20% each check That employer part is what Trump major corporation want to do away with the employer side (10%)
It's 1.5% for an overall 15% rate. Getting rid of the employee contribution would be insane and a massive wealth distribution move up. This is directly for the donor class who is self employed. They talk about small business owners and their "employees" like that's the vast majority of self employed anymore. These days most small businesses are just ICs or contractors, especially as you get outside the restaurant business. They aren't directly employing anyone.
Don’t think I’ve ever cried so much during a true crime case. What happened is disgusting. I don’t get how killing someone doesn’t get you life in prison especially pre meditated. Stalking someone should at least have you put on an ankle monitor to make sure you don’t get close to the person they had been stalking. The system to protect women doesn’t exist.
Ana interviewed him, as supposedly one of our top health gurus, along with another medical guy (Nov 2017 ... I keep good notes, heh). He's had the big C and the other guy did not look healthy at all (kind of obese). And I laughed about it in a comment (that this is all she could come up with for "expert" health advice). Ya' see, that's the problem, you still cling to our "health care" system as the end all be all. They may be experts with drugs and cutting, but they don't know jack squat about real health CARE (see their health). So what's truly needed is more DIVERSITY in that system (along with nixing or at least countering the profit motive). We need OPEN MINDS (feminine energy), more people LISTENING (feminine energy) to the real-life experiences of others (at some point, anecdotal evidence is exceedingly compelling, and just plain stupid to ignore it). That's one thing oz has going for him (RFKJ, same). He's open-minded, and willing to try the alternative stuff (the "alternative" arena is feminine energy, anything different). And you, the ignorant, closed-minded ones (mock the idea of "lab/leaks" and "UFOs" .. both of which you were wrong about). You, the "broken brain" ones... Well, girlie, ya' know how you prevent that broken-brain thing (and to prevent ultimately being proven a fool)? You stop mocking what you're completely ignorant about. Those things where your only sources of info have mega financial interests in keeping people ignorant about them. You keep an open mind, despite something that sounds "kooky" to a "broken brain" (brainwashed). How do I know? Because it's the only reason I'm still alive. Trying the "alternative" stuff. And there are a lot of people out there with the same experience. But you wouldn't know, because you don't research that deeply. You think you already know. Psst. you don't.
Dr. Oz has spoken privately that he wants to privatize all healthcare. That he wants to get rid of all government funded healthcare. And that medicare advantage has let people die that I know of even when those deaths were absolutely preventable. Don't do medicare advantage it is really really bad.
I don’t usually agree with TYT on much but I definitely agree with them on the Medicare and Dr. Oz situation. Unfortunately I suspect the reason Dr. Oz was chosen for this position is because he and President Trump are in agreement on the direction they want Medicare to go.

11:14 the idea that there's a way private health insurance can cover additional benefits than M4A needs to be explained; I don't think it's real. In M4A, if you get sick, then you get help. How can you get more help?
NZ healthcare is free, we have private for the privileged, the rest wait in long lines , 5 years, now having my hip done.. A blood test free as many times you ask ,A Tourist pays $300...wtf...
Oz might be a doctor but he certainly isn't an economist. A 20% wage hike which is what a 20% payroll tax is, would be inflationary. To use Walmart as an example wages around $35 billion, net profit around $11 billion. So at 20% payroll would mean prices need to rise around 2% to maintain a similar profit. Obviously everything supplied to the store would be more expensive because the entire supply chain within the US would have higher wages that need to be covered and things like store fit outs also more expensive. So the idea would just mean low income people can buy less, it would be a nice fit though with Trump's tariff plans which have exactly the same effect.
I thought TYT held the position that the president did everything? That all eyes should be on the president only, that it doesn't matter who the president picks for their team. That's at least the narrative I have gotten from them for at least the past year. So, no problem here...

@@jonathanaliff6121he had a stroke while he was running, do you not check your comments before posting?
@@Iukereigns3460 that makes the voters of Pennsylvania more retarded than I thought and I couldn't care less if their feelings are hurt about it now.
@Iukereigns3460 oh, I see upon further review that he had the stroke before the primary....how stupid are Democrats? What, you had a mental patient in the White House and decided you needed one more in the Congress?

Fetterman is coming to his
senses as he recovers.
More fascism thanks to the democrats who gave them power and apathy.
Dr. Oz. If Leonardo DiCaprio, Hugh Hefner, Joe Pesci, Jerry O'Connell, Mark Cuban, Ron Paul, Robin Williams, Christopher Reeve, Matthew Perry, Ben Affleck, and SO many more I couldn't even fill them in this comment section alone had a baby. Now, I've been hearing how people don't want to work, yet all these people are Rich, so...What IS "Work" then? What do they have to say...?
I have been to his show. He mostly talked about bogus super foods that he was making money on.
Anna has changed big time… Cenk too. Good bye
doctor oz will do exactly what trump wants
What happens to retired Military and theiir dependents that have TriCare for Life which requires Medicare Parts A and B to receive the TriCare medical coverage. Obviously those who were promised the TriCare will now have to pay the Advantage Plan and be out of luck since TriCare does not accept coverage by Medicare Part C Advantage plans.
That’s Cenk’s Turkish Brother and Cenk’s upset he didn’t get picked…
Joe- we finally beat Medicare!
And what's your point? Exactly you have none you're just talking gibberish 👶
Since WHEN does the working peoples money fund, have the ability to be "privatized"?!
I am SOOO tired of you guys re-uploading so many different versions of the same video. This is the 3rd time I've seen this exact video.
He’s a wonderful Wizard, hope he can administrate medicine 💊 Down
“Well either give them credit, or well call them out” that’s why I like watching you rather than other left channels. You give credit where it’s due and don’t let your TDS get in the way. But also speak the truth when needed and call things out the right won’t EVER do. 👏🏼
Idk how anyone can call Ana a right winger with these takes on Medicare. Like c’mon.
I like Oz on Health
I hate Oz on economics
I am a healthy senior. No medications, no smoking, drinking, etc. I see my doctor once a year, my dentist twice. I love my Medicare Advantage. For me, it is basic care while allowing me to participate in programs that support me in maintaining my health. I would support every citizen having this level of care.
You are a healthy senior. If you ever need heart surgery or something exotic, it will be at this private insurance-for-profit entity's discretion as to whether or not you get care. Good luck then.
Most seniors like it unless they get really sick. Then the crazy out of pocket kick in. Then they scrutinize procedures and look for ways to delay or deny. None of that happens with traditional Medicare with Medigap.
@@siouxrose7766 That is why I work every day to improve myself and my health. I clearly understand what the future can bring and I would never want to be a burden to my family.
Medicare Advantage is shit.
@@calmbeforethestorm9498 So if your body gets shattered in a car accident, you're ok with being a burden to everyone else when MA doesn't pay a damn dime lol
Dr OZ if you can't afford those vegetables you can always serch for food banks in you community 😂

I seen this a week ago
Hey genius buy salsa in the unrefrigerated aisle or make it your self same with guacamole will be a lot cheaper
Where is he shipping Beverly Hills??? I like most working class Americans shop at Walmart and pay Much less than that
I dunno, I am on Medicare Advantage, it’s basically been great for me. Just be diligent about the provider you choose.
Not is he is actually an. MD who attended a legitimate medical school.

I don’t usually agree with TYT on much but I definitely agree with them on the Medicare and Dr. Oz situation. Unfortunately I suspect the reason Dr. Oz was chosen for this position is because he and President Trump are in agreement on the direction they want Medicare to go.
What is net for America, it looks the road is getting more slippery. Donald is doing all he can to fortify his own protection rather than that of the nation and their country.
Didn’t Oprah make him famous

11:14 the idea that there's a way private health insurance can cover additional benefits than M4A needs to be explained; I don't think it's real. In M4A, if you get sick, then you get help. How can you get more help?

What happen? Kid Rock or Hulk Hogan didn't want the position?
I think he needs congressional approval.
public sectors should remain for government.
Cenk, this isn't a hobby horse of mine or anything, but I've seen a lot of people correct you every time you say the idiom wrong. It's "the proof of the pudding is in the eating."
