Such a beautiful and insightful film that makes me feel for rocks, they've been through it all. This makes me think about the fact that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it just takes up different forms.
I missed this a few times but looked at it today. Somehow, when it finally became a big mountain, my previously confused mind and brain felt relief, coolness, rest, happiness. This was a wonderful mental experience. It has a great meaning that cannot be described in words. I regret not having looked at this before. This is really great. 😳🥺😇
This just makes me wonder if the small pebbles I pick up used to be mountains before. You never know the true history of certain things and that's what makes most of the world a mystery.
It's been 5 whole year's since I missed this but I came back to write a comment I love how much meaning this has and I love it dearly that's what makes it unique.
5:31 I can already see what happens next. He goes to sleep thinking he finally found peace. Then he gets woke up by the sound of a spacecraft engine landing near him full of humans ready to ruin his sleep yet again...
Yeah, there could be a secret mine of uranium inside him that humans want, so humans mine his body down to a hill with futuristic technology, similar to the size of him in 0:37. So then humans make a city on his head, so he breaks off the ground with the semi-constructed city on his head like a hat. And he tries to sleep on another hill, but once again the humans bother him and try to chip chunks of him off with a laser, next thing he knows, he’s a boulder. But then robots conquers humanity, and crush him down, and bake him into a nuke. (Because of the previous supply of uranium in him). So he’s used in like an asteroid shooter, and get flinged back to earth, blowing up a continent, in the explosion, he gets reduced to a pebble, and flung millions of miles into an ocean. A fish accidentally consumes him, and gets radiation poisoning causing it to die, but then a human catches the fish in some post-apocalyptic wasteland (after the robot invasion) and the fish’s intestines get thrown away on the ground, so then an eagle picks up the intestines and carry him away, so then he flys out of the fish intestine a falls into some canyon, where he gets further chipped on a rock. And there’s a little stream in the canyon that he just so much flys off the rock and falls into, so he gets outsourced to the ocean, where he eventually washes up on a beach, as a grain of sand. So then an automated robot picks him up kinda like a crane, and forges him into glass, the glass is them forged into the sensors of a robot, so then the robots (him as a lens inside one) invade a human colony, the humans are victorious and recycle the robot (specifically the part of him) into ammunition for a sniper rifle, so then he gets shot straight into a robots motor, and he gets chipped up similar to how he did in 3:38 so then he’s a particle of rock, and much, much later on, humans recycle that part of the floor into concrete for a research complex, but then the robots blow it up and he gets flung (now as a a chunk of concrete) into a volcano, which eventually eroded into a hill then a mountain once again.

Юрский? Не, меловой! Хищный динозавр, судя по лицу и ручкам с двумя пальцами, является каким-то тираннозавридом, а они только в меловом появились.

This beautiful clip sums up the life story of each creature on this planet.. the rise and the fall and the cycle continues.. the makers deserve nothing but respect for their creativity

Such a beautiful and insightful film that makes me feel for rocks, they've been through it all. This makes me think about the fact that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it just takes up different forms.

I absolutely adore this short film, it’s been one of my biggest inspirations in animations. Keep up the fantastic work!
This was beautiful. I love how it shows how old rocks can be. And it all looks very smooth. Good video!
😳🥺😇
I know
So you have rocks in your home I have a mountain a small one
💕
It became a hill then boulder then rock and finaly a hill or mountain so the first wasnt really big

What an outstanding approach this short film has really appreciating your work from bottom of my heart ❤️ 🙏🏻
This just makes me wonder if the small pebbles I pick up used to be mountains before. You never know the true history of certain things and that's what makes most of the world a mystery.

5:31 I can already see what happens next. He goes to sleep thinking he finally found peace. Then he gets woke up by the sound of a spacecraft engine landing near him full of humans ready to ruin his sleep yet again...
Ah well :/
Hoomans do be like sometime
and it happens again... and again..
