launching cheaper cards first would be a better idea because people would still buy them because theyre the first 50 series cards but they would also want the best ones so theyll buy multiple
it feels like we JUST got the 40 series cards because of the availability being garbage, now we're already thinking about 50 series cards? i'm still on my first rig with a 3060. i do want more performance but now i'm not sure if i need to wait to see if any technology improves between the 40 and 50 series.

I'm not all that surprised by the delay, the late 2024 luanch seemed kinda early. Maybe Jenson needs more time to perfect his "CEO Math" so it better fits his "The more you buy the more you save mantra" 😂

The best idea is probably release the lower end ones first. Assuming that it’s better than the 4090 by a decent bit the people who can afford the 5090 probably can just buy the 5060/70 then a 5090 when it releases and it wouldn’t affect them at all, either that or everyone who wants a 5060/70 will buy them then the rich b*s get their stuff later which I’m all for.
I wonder if this will push the 5070 and 5060 cards into summer since those normally launch throughout spring. Couldn't care about 5090 or 5080 unreasonably expensive.
