Today, after 7 years, this sequel's (midquel) first episode was released. I was just hoping for it to be a success, and first episode was amazing. So many memories and so many feelings within this episode made me cry. I hope it will keep being awesome as always.

I actually had a little of sad feelings for Kyouma. Like I'm glad for the normal one for having Kurisu back but this Kyouma doesn't and must find his way to save her and to prevent WW3.
Well the truth be told, remember how Suzuha said that he had to fail one time in his attempt to save Kurisu, well this Okabe is the result of that failure, he is in fact the Okabe we see in the message he sent to himself in episode 24, so in fact he was planning for the future death of himself and everyone else (at least on the beta world line), because we see that the beta world line is destroyed with Okabe in the new Steins Gate Line saving his Kurisu
Phantom Evans Yes it is quite the sad and interesting story. Damn it's been so long since that comment. More than half a year and I was still calling him Kyouma for some reason.
With steins gate I've only watched the anime, and only know that SG0 follows the "future Okabe." I actually enjoyed both openings for 0. The visuals went really well with their songs. But if SG0 is supposedly a much darker and more depressing story than the original I prefer this opening. Because the song conveys a stronger sense of depressing despair yet has a small twinkle of hope which conveys the supposed tone of the story better since among the constant failures Okabe (aged 33) does eventually find a way towards a happy ending for himself and everyone. The Steins Gate worldline :) Also there were alot more cool and interesting visuals in this OP. Can't wait to see how this anime adaptation goes down.
every time I listen to a song by Kanako Itou I feel amazing. For some reason, all the songs in Steins;Gate just give me like an insanely happy feeling. idk if its just me. Steins;Gate is too op
I wouldn't say they all give me happy vibes. They all work differently depending on the tone of the song and series. Hacking to the Gate gets you hyped at the beginning for the episode then slows down to give a very mysterious vibe which is a pretty good fit for the OG series. Amadeus here has a somber sad overall tone with an uplifting sense of hope at the end, which totally fits SG0. Fatima, idk just sounds like any regular song really. It doesn't fit the tone of SG0 and doesn't bring any different vibe to the series. Its not a bad song, I actually like it. It just doesn't bring much to set a tone unlike the other songs. Last Game fits SG0 more than Fatima. It gives off feelings of deep sadness, despair and a longing for the good old times long gone. Very atmospheric song I'd say.

But you’re right in comparing the differences between the songs. And actaully Fatima was my personal favorite song of the series, and I think I’d give Hacking to the gate a quick second place. And If you haven’t heard it yet, I recommend listening to the opening of Occultic;Nine, it’s amazing!

I remember some guy complaining about steins gate not being a "realistic" time travel story... Of course is not realistic, time travel is theorically impossible, time travel stories are the most fictional among fiction.
It still manages to be somewhat "realistic" though, especially when you compare it to other time travel fiction (also at least this one uses real-life events, places, and things to make it seem more real)
JD it might be possible we don't know we can't even solve some thinks about earth not taking about the universe and time what is time really a succession of events generally that's all we know but what if you can change the line of events in a place from future to past ? That's the question and why you can't just say it's impossible.

You could grab the Japanese PC release, install it, and use the "Commitee of Zero" Patch. Just google it for more information, it's linked on their twitter.
Mɪsʜɪ if you can get a Japanese PC copy, you can get it patched and they even improved the translation in places. I have it for vita (and a physical release at that) but think that's the best way if you can get it. Pretty salty about it not having a PC port officially in English though tbh even though I own the right console now.

With steins gate I've only watched the anime, and only know that SG0 follows the "future Okabe." I actually enjoyed both openings for 0. The visuals went really well with their songs. But if SG0 is supposedly a much darker and more depressing story than the original I prefer this opening. Because the song conveys a stronger sense of depressing despair yet has a small twinkle of hope which conveys the supposed tone of the story better since among the constant failures Okabe (aged 33) does eventually find a way towards a happy ending for himself and everyone. The Steins Gate worldline :) Also there were alot more cool and interesting visuals in this OP. Can't wait to see how this anime adaptation goes down.

every time I listen to a song by Kanako Itou I feel amazing. For some reason, all the songs in Steins;Gate just give me like an insanely happy feeling. idk if its just me. Steins;Gate is too op

I wouldn't say they all give me happy vibes. They all work differently depending on the tone of the song and series.
Hacking to the Gate gets you hyped at the beginning for the episode then slows down to give a very mysterious vibe which is a pretty good fit for the OG series.
Amadeus here has a somber sad overall tone with an uplifting sense of hope at the end, which totally fits SG0.
Fatima, idk just sounds like any regular song really. It doesn't fit the tone of SG0 and doesn't bring any different vibe to the series. Its not a bad song, I actually like it. It just doesn't bring much to set a tone unlike the other songs.
Last Game fits SG0 more than Fatima. It gives off feelings of deep sadness, despair and a longing for the good old times long gone. Very atmospheric song I'd say.
@@Filimaua13 you hit it on the spot with that description to be honest. I didn’t really think about that, cuz whenever I’d listen to her music I’d just get a very relaxed/excited feeling. But you’re right in comparing the differences between the songs. And actaully Fatima was my personal favorite song of the series, and I think I’d give Hacking to the gate a quick second place.
And If you haven’t heard it yet, I recommend listening to the opening of Occultic;Nine, it’s amazing!

I remember some guy complaining about steins gate not being a "realistic" time travel story... Of course is not realistic, time travel is theorically impossible, time travel stories are the most fictional among fiction.

It still manages to be somewhat "realistic" though, especially when you compare it to other time travel fiction (also at least this one uses real-life events, places, and things to make it seem more real)
It's one of the most realistic portrayals of time travel though. I can't remember one that has more internal consistency than Steins Gate
JD it might be possible we don't know we can't even solve some thinks about earth not taking about the universe and time what is time really a succession of events generally that's all we know but what if you can change the line of events in a place from future to past ? That's the question and why you can't just say it's impossible.
Going in the past is impossible but going in the future is theorotically possible if you speed up your car by speed of light and surpass it your time inside that car slows down and the time outside the car is different but no technology in this era can surpass the speed of light that's why people thinks its impossible. Mɪsʜɪ if you can get a Japanese PC copy, you can get it patched and they even improved the translation in places. I have it for vita (and a physical release at that) but think that's the best way if you can get it. Pretty salty about it not having a PC port officially in English though tbh even though I own the right console now.
