No doubt Adam Driver is a great actor. I've seen his other movies. It's really Disney's fault. They shouldn't have changed the SW EU. I would have loved to see him as Darth Caedus instead of Kylo Ren.

Adam Driver's attention to details is amazing. Just in his very first scene, all he has to do is give a thumbs up. It's as simple as you can get, but he does it like he's never given a thumbs up in his life.
You can tell Adam really knows the character well. He realistically plays Kylo even in a situation Kylo would have never been in in the movies mostly by amping up Kylo’s childishness and awkwardness.
Did you notice how his left eye twitched, and he got a neck tic or something when he says, "I'm looking forward..."? Now that I've been watching the Behavior Panel and the Body Language Guy, I'm noticing details I never would have before.
Honestly, a Disney+ comedy about the lives of generic Star Wars characters could be really funny. There are so many factions that it could be based on.

Except a staff and a light saber are not equivocal. Also pain is suppose to make dark side users stronger so there's that. Although none of that matters because having one your main antagonist loose in the first movie looks bad regardless of the explanation.

You take that and the physical and psychological injury that Kylo had when he kills Han and it explains it. In the same way that we saw the other way around in the rise of skywalker with Rey being defeated. She was the one hurt in the soul and he was at full capacity ^^
Except a staff and a light saber are not equivocal. Also pain is suppose to make dark side users stronger so there's that. Although none of that matters because having one your main antagonist loose in the first movie looks bad regardless of the explanation.

The 'joke' I made was to say the skit sucked. They have high paid comedians to write their skits and that was the best they could come up with.
