Ive been to a few camping festivals & never properly camped at any bc it gets gross, fast! 😂 This was the closest I got. We rented an RV & parked at this camp site that had indoor plumbing & actual showers. But we had to rent a car to get the RV rental & to get to the shuttle bus everyday. That was forever ago. But it was miserable. Also expensive & too hot esp for GA tix bc there was only a few places you could hide from the sun all day. Like she said, the key is scoping out the “secret” places to get hydrated (we saved alcohol for post-sunset to avoid passing out) & to bathroom. Have never been back.
Yeeeeeeeeesssss thank you ffs I am so glad someone is coming out about this crap I'm a stagehand and lemme tell you. But Jesus christ, when the vendors and no offense to yall but bro waffle stompers only show up with yall, I don't get it. Everyone wants to enjoy a damn good experience, but with what they provide, and the lack of respect generally, most people have doesn't help. If they'd clean the showers more and people would stop being gross. Then maybe we could enjoy a good time, but to even get in is stupid retarded money wise. I love seeing people have their best moment of their lives with something I built. It's corny, but it really is special. But I do feel yall are being practically extorted😭. Much love🏴☠️💯
I havent been to many music festivals, but the ones ive been to were: sziget festival in budapest (super worth it, quality music, amazing lineups,so many things to do), untold festival in romania, electric castle in romania and summer well, also in romania. As a over 60 person who did my share of going to festivals when I was young I just have to say I’m sooo over it. I would take the same budget and just get a bunch of friends together for a very fancy bar b q and have the same fun, no lines to wait in.
Why all the hate for people that go to Coachella? Nobody said you have to go. The food is so expensive because of the exorbitant cost to be a vendor there. I don’t understand at all the comments about only hipsters and rich kids going to the festival. While some of that may be true, a lot of people go for the music, environment, experience and to just have a good time. You can hate it but nobody said you have to go.

@@shellyv2634 Ok my thing.
Because they enjoy it
There was a time I could do it for $1000 airfare and all. Those times are long gone I don't think it could be done for $2k now probably an easy $3k.
Thanks! I’ll never wonder if I should go to Coachella anymore. Outside lands ftw!
I will never ever go to a coachella festival 🥱
Thank you for being honest 🙏

They're literally milking these fools for their money. No wonder business is good.
Doesn't sound enticing AT ALL!
I paid 300$ for staying in a super nice villa with pool and jacuzzi very close to the venue. Recommend being a few people.
The actual truth from a 6x Coachella attendee........ just know someone in the area and stay Over at their house and use their ac and pool. Problem solved!
Nailed all the points.
Wait till you grow up and realize all that time and valuable money wasted at Coachella because it's the worst so called music festival ever.
I like how everybody tries to look cool but no any actually looks cool at coachella
Haha we toured the dead when I was in college…Coachella looks fancy compared to shakedown street 😂
I think Coachella is kinda dying off. Like there’s no hype around it, like everyone realizes now it’s just a crappy over- priced experience💀
Coachella dosent seem worth it anymore.
Our shitters, our showers, and sometimes, if live Nation wants to be nice, we get nice bathrooms, right? But Jesus christ, when the vendors and no offense to yall but bro waffle stompers only show up with yall, I don't get it. Everyone wants to enjoy a damn good experience, but with what they provide, and the lack of respect generally, most people have doesn't help. If they'd clean the showers more and people would stop being gross. Then maybe we could enjoy a good time, but to even get in is stupid retarded money wise. I love seeing people have their best moment of their lives with something I built. It's corny, but it really is special. But I do feel yall are being practically extorted😭. Much love🏴☠️💯
Sounds like a cool overall experience. Sounds like fun if I were young but I’m sure my kids would love it!
I love hedonism, Coachella sounds like a cool way to waste a shit ton of money
I havent been to many music festivals, but the ones ive been to were: sziget festival in budapest (super worth it, quality music, amazing lineups,so many things to do), untold festival in romania, electric castle in romania and summer well, also in romania. If you ever plan a trip to european festivals, i def recommend these.
10/10
I just finished my 7th and this year was logistically amazing.
Coachella sounds like it's for chumps.
As a over 60 person who did my share of going to festivals when I was young I just have to say I’m sooo over it. Love the way you advised to take all your pictures in the morning (we rarely took any pictures and didn’t worry about it) YES, us old people went to festivals, drank and did drugs. I would take the same budget and just get a bunch of friends together for a very fancy bar b q and have the same fun, no lines to wait in.
I still want to go 😂
it’s fun! just not what is portrayed on ig
@@CeceXie Definitely! The sweat and crowds are probably the worst part
Thank you so much, all these truths encouraged me to stay at home tq so much 🙏😊
AHAHAHA imagine eating at a music festival. Bring those 5 packs of protien bars and you're good for the weekend.
“Life is lines people” me and my fellow Brits couldn’t agree more
Looks awful
Ayyyy! Salt & Straw! I helped get all that down there, glad it was enjoyed!
no way-what an interesting logistical problem! rest assured that it was enjoyed by many :)
Why all the hate for people that go to Coachella? Nobody said you have to go. The food is so expensive because of the exorbitant cost to be a vendor there. Yes, some people are mean but you will also meet some wonderful people. Yes, it takes a toll on you but it is an experience you will never forget. I don’t understand at all the comments about only hipsters and rich kids going to the festival. While some of that may be true, a lot of people go for the music, environment, experience and to just have a good time. You can hate it but nobody said you have to go.
I heard some terrible experiences regarding the lack of shuttles. Some people couldn't even get in because the shuttles stopped running. I love this video though.
Coachella is SoCal version of Burning Man
Coachella is for the outfits i sweeeear, i have seen more people post what theyre wearing more than them actually enjoying the music 😂😂
Every video I’ve seen about Coachella makes it sound like hell 😂😂 glad these exist so I don’t have to experience getting ripped off
