I work at McDonald’s and I get stressed if I have to make more than two sandwiches. How would I ever survive this
You would be processed out immediately
I never been there myself, but I'm sure we'd survive, they pride themselves on making Marines. Its not just you, they push you, if you break, then you don't make it. But I knew some of the biggest cream puffs ever, when they came back as Marines, I could not believe my eyes. Not only were they buff and bad assed, but even though they still had the same basic personality, their control and poise was incredible. They impressed me. I wish I had joined when I was young, I think men like this could have helped me be a much better man and maybe I wouldn't have acted so foolish all these years> But I agree, it doesn't look like a walk in the park to me, it looks worse than anything I ever went through, that's for sure.
You'd survive cause you'd be going through it with others.
Wayne Bhase - It sounds like you understand your shortcomings. We all have them. If you understand your shortcomings at this point, you probably have gone a long way to improving yourself already. It is the people who do not understand this who do not improve. Congratulations.
Shit when you a nigga like me had to learn everything with no experience and always get left in the kitchen by yoself this would be nothing it's just extreme conditions and lots and lots of fucking yelling 24/7 .
I have no interest in joining the military but watching drill sergeants shout at marines is one of my favourite passtimes.
Marine drill instructors in a nutshell: Look at my funky hat and now you know why you are the maggot and I am not.
You better shut the fuck up and never disrespect a marine DI hat ever again
@@nataliereynolds9371 Yikes. Who hurt your feelings.
@@MarinaraMonke Listen, im in the Navy. People making fun of Marine uniforms or any military uniforms is disrespect as hell.
@@nataliereynolds9371 It was a joke. If you were really military you would understand it.
@@MarinaraMonke it's a joke to you to ppl serving it's disrespectful furthermore someone who hasn't joined any branch shouldn't be making jokes about it

@Thatonedude 4877 ahh
Hahaha yeah
As a former U.S. Army soldier, who went through Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Ga.
GOD BLESS Those "DI's from hell".
Some of the best lessons come from the toughest teachers.
Though love all the way.
Just got back from osut infantry school almost died first day in basic from eating dried potatoes I had 3 drill sgts tell me to the shit down my throat and I did that and turned red
@YANCEYGAMING
You went OSUT!? Outstanding! I did the same.
Adam Jenks yes sir I didn’t know until I shipped they said you’ll be here for 22 weeks
Same here. More years ago then I care to admit. Still have great (and not so great) memories of training at Ft. Benning. I still remember my Drill Sgts names and how dedicated they were. I don't think I will ever forget them. And several of the great guys I trained with. Man, we were like fucking brothers for a while there. US Army training at Benning is one of the greatest memories I have. It's also the funnest thing I never want to do again.
I was honored to be a Marine Combat Corpsman. I remember being at Camp Pendleton going through Field Med School and learning to be a Marine. Even though I was a squid, I was smart enough to go Marine Corps when it was offered to me! Best move I ever made! SEMPER FI!!!
That is Right. ALWAYS FAITHFUL.

ehh, alright? Thanks for pointing that out Drill Sergeant....
+Håvard Kveum Morken Are you disrespecting the strength of our marines maggot, we fight so you stay safe.
Papa Meme Disrespecting Marines? No. Criticising boot camp? Yes. Marines got my utmost respect, but the overall system with Drill Instructors are "outdated". PS: Marines ain't keeping me safe. Marines are fighting the wars of the US government.
+Håvard Kveum Morken So basically even though boot camps are extremely effective we should discontinue them? Nice logic dude.
Drill Instructor: Get Back!
Recruits (like the Red Sea): AYE AYE, SIR!
Drill Instructor: Senyarsawasur.
How drill sergeants can scream at the top of their lungs day in and day out is beyond me. I commend them for being able to keep their voices after putting their vocal cords under such strain
The screaming goes away with the progression of training -- these gentlemen are obviously in their first few hours in. Probably less than 24 hrs.

The first two weeks are hell, but once you get the hang of what's expected and learn from other's mistakes you catch on fast.
I’m sorry, but US Marines are bad ass. Army needs to be more like them.
Have you served in the military?
Incredible Wash probably not a day I’m his life.
🤣🤣 a bunch of runnin round and yellin lol.
@danleecrabtree But how to become a DI in the Marines? You can choose to be one?
@danleecrabtree Ah, understood, but the training on those DI schools is like this too? Like, the same thing of the first weeks in the USMC or is just a class where you learn how to became one instructor? And yeah, this guys are badasses

chair force
@@kennethkho7165 Lol. I had only a few days' leave after Boot Camp in the late '80s to visit home before my first school. My older cousin, who was in the AF Reserve came over, asking how it went, and I told him he probably wouldn't get it, as I was packing to ship off. He snottily and defensively responded with: "Well, you know, with our MTIs, it's all more of a *_mental_* challenge."
I looked at him in disbelief. Only three days out, I still had Boot-itis, so I (dorkily) addressed him by his rank, saying something like: "Senior Airman, pardon me, but if you think Marine Corps Recruit Training isn't mental, I urge you to go through our little 12-week course at Parris Island and find out just how 'mental' it can be."
well then that’s why, you were in the air force.
I can imagine the pain in those men's throats at the end of the day

There having to shout every five seconds geez
and when u pass the program ur voices must sound like drill instructor
