That was always my theory since the last time he had a run-in with the law enforcement I thought maybe Jon, as a man will finally learn to grow, and become a better person once he experiences his first loss in something that he deems the most important to him, which is his MMA career because I remember looking at a video that DC made about JJ & his last incident. He was talking about how Being in Jon’s POV the things he did outside of the UFC never affected him in the octagon so when all these people want him to change, he ask himself. “Why should he” and from his POV you can understand because he’s never lost he’s never been properly defeated, so why would he change the person that he is because the more he’s gotten deeper and deeper into that dark place the more and more he’s gotten better inside the octagon, unfortunately like you said he let it get to him, and we see the results of what happens when that’s the case
You can understand things without losing especially since he has probably lost alot in practice and sparring / training, and i think someone as smart as jon can do so. Honestly, its more like the drugs and alcohol that take over him and make him do stupid shit. I don't think he has ever been in trouble while sober
Good little documentary about him yeah I been watching the ufc 285 embedded episodes. He seems like a good guy. Like any other guy whose had mistakes and flaws before, amazing talent must be hard to manage all that. We all learn at different rates if he's found a way to let the dark side go more power to him. He's destroyed everybody else in the octagon except Gane his hardest problems seem to be against himself, which is very much so for a lot of us.
It's very easy to just rotulate someone as "crazy" or "sociopath", but your video really has gone to a depth I hadn't seen yet. Everyone goes thru transformantions and struggles in life, and your video showed a much more human, flawed, and real side of Jones. I bet Jones himself would be intrigued upon seeing this video. I knew this sports because of John. And during the early days Jon seemed to be a quiet young man who was extremely talented and was even more humble. It never crossed my mind that this man has a side like this. I am sure at that time we all had that perception. I think money and fame exposes the darkest sides of people.
He couldn't stop his wild side, which is the one who made him champion. I can't imagine how difficult has to be to turn that wildness down when you are not fighting.
@Jessie fuck your socity no one owes you anything . He is not danger dont tell me about few fucking incidents a lot of normal people do he is just living in his house living his life . So shut up . He can live how he want

As long as a "bad" person is aware that they're not "good" they can make the choice. Alot of the time p and s paths are looking for internal peace but it's always conflicted with self serving megalomania. It's a rough experience, being a dark person is some days frustrating but you wouldn't swap it for anything else. Illness or not people deserve respect. I appreciate Jones when he's being himself. Bones has a darkness within him as a human being that no other fighter has I think, but that's precisely what makes him the most complete and dangerous fighter of all time. Though he's got that darkness, I do believe he's got good in him that's genuine. But 15 title fight wins is otherworldly shit.
Been watching Jones for a long ass time and he’s always been special. I loved watching this dude, sucks he couldn’t stay out of trouble but he had so much success at such a young age probably messes with his head abit thinking he was untouchable

@Jessie he is trapped between obligations and evilness. the problem of jones only arises when he retires. a 40 yrs old jones with an ar15 and a military trained dog and without money or angry of something ...what could go wrong?

Some people can't drink, not even one single drop of alcohol. It triggers something horrible that is normally locked away deep inside. Sober Jon is the GOAT,
Jon Jones is like the Homelander of MMA-a sociopathic force of nature who’s impossible to look away from. There’s something terrifyingly captivating about him, both inside and outside the cage. The way he switches between the polished, media-friendly persona and the ruthless, almost sadistic alter ego is chilling. Moments like his infamous ‘I would literally kill you’ exchange with Cormier reveal the primal side he keeps under the surface, a dark edge that he uses to dominate his opponents. He’s the kind of fighter who, a thousand years ago, would’ve been on horseback with a battle axe, leading the charge and hacking through anything in his path. It’s not just his physical dominance but the psychological warfare he brings-studying his opponents, downloading their every move, and dismantling them piece by piece. Jones isn’t just a fighter; he’s an enigma, a complex mix of brilliance and chaos that makes him one of the most fascinating figures in sports. Love him or fear him, you can’t deny he’s on another level.
Watched him sense his days on the ultimate fighter. Followed him his whole career and can tell you hands down is the greatest mma fighter to date. Ain't no if ands or buts.
He knows exactly what he's doing. I don't care if he's perfect in all aspects of life, I love that he is best fighter of all time. Tonight, he destroys
So you love him for beating his wife to a bloody pulp and driving into a pregnant lady? Oh yes such a brave man, it was especially brave of him to cry like a bitch when facing the consequences of his crimes by the police and when he refuses to fight Tom aspinhal. Yes such a heroic individual.
Theory from a Brazilian. Sorry about the broken English. In the last scene when jones is arguing and raging it seems he is doing it to his alterego. He can’t believe he just blew it again and he blames his alterego. The head-butting is the punishment to himself for being like that. It is really a curse. Amazing fighter but bad intentions. It was an amazing performance last night and I hope he keeps doing good. It was an incredible video! Congratulations!
Although very well put together! Couldnt this be said about most top fighters? Also saying he’s miserable, lost etc without fighting isn’t true imo. Jon deals with addiction and active addiction is hard enough to deal with without the fame. Its not the fighting that keeps himself in the darkness but his unwilling to look at other parts of his life outside of fighting and dealing with those issues.. Anyways it seems like top fighters all have another side that turns them into a killer. Big difference here is that Jon has a very powerful force called addiction pulling him which could be called the alter ego I guess
I don’t understand why people don’t like jon jones, he’s literally my favorite UFC fighter! I member watching him live fighting guys like matt hamill and brandon vera back in the day!

“Maybe for the sake of Jon… Bones needs to lose.” Very well said💯
Ko loss
Thats scary to think. If Bones keeps winning and developing the “I’m God” mindset, he could eventually overtake Jon and do something that permanently ruins the Jones legacy forever.
but it's "Bones" we're talking about and we know what he's capable of
Don't know how I feel about Jones losing 🤔 would be wierd af, but hope he's good within himself 👍
@@mitchellgarvey98 he’s not talking about Jon losing the match he’s talking about (Jon) beating his alter ego (bones) kinda like how mike Tyson found peace within himself after his career

Good video for sure
Great video bro, we don’t see this high quality content anymore, congrats and thanks for sharing such a great creation.
I'm stoked about his return
2023 return of Bones Jones.
Brevity is a courtesy, my friend
You can understand things without losing especially since he has probably lost alot in practice and sparring / training, and i think someone as smart as jon can do so. Honestly, its more like the drugs and alcohol that take over him and make him do stupid shit. I don't think he has ever been in trouble while sober
he won jijiji
If Bones Jones wasn’t fighting mma he would of been on a Netflix series.
For sure he has that serial killer personality
There's still time ...
This was a great video. It felt like an HBO documentary. Keep these videos up!!
Incredible work on this video bro. Very well put together.
Would love to see more like it
Leave a man's past in the past. Tomorrow is a new day.
Very well researched and put together! Thank you!
Deep. Such an interesting character. He seems so lost but in full control at the same time.
Awesome content!!
nah, hes a sociopath 100%
"Maybe for the sake of Jon, Bones needs to lose." Wow! Dropping some heavy bars, dude!
Great job editing here man! Beautiful storytelling of an all time great character in Jon. Super intriguing guy with all his ups and downs a truly polarizing figure. Whether you love him or hate him you have to respect his accolades.
What’s the sound playing at 0:59?
The first answer is the most honest he’s ever been on camera. He wasn’t asking for it but now I have some respect
Nice editing and storytelling I was always fascinated about Jones the more lethal his fight gets the more true bones we see almost scary I got shocked when he took down prime Cormier just to make a statement truly a fighting goat
That opening scene as he is being asked the question with the stare and toothpick is some real life villain shit
When he said to DC I would kill you… chills went down my spine… you better BELIEVE he could do it….
any mofo could kill anybody if motivated
He meant that, yo...
he meant shooting him just fyi…
#Bones the greatest
I knew this sports because of John. And during the early days Jon seemed to be a quiet young man who was extremely talented and was even more humble. It never crossed my mind that this man has a side like this. I am sure at that time we all had that perception. I think money and fame exposes the darkest sides of people.
BROOO, when Jon just smiles after DC says "youre so fake" is actual too cold
He couldn't stop his wild side, which is the one who made him champion. I can't imagine how difficult has to be to turn that wildness down when you are not fighting.
Exactly. People don’t get that
@Jessie fuck your socity no one owes you anything . He is not danger dont tell me about few fucking incidents a lot of normal people do he is just living in his house living his life . So shut up . He can live how he want
@jessie6600A soldier requires self control and discipline, you can't just send a crazy person on the battlefield and call him a soldier
@jessie6600 He would still be a danger to society. Just not our society.
I believe Jon really does want to be good. It's just so damn hard for some of us.
Where do you get this impression of bad behavior? Because he parties? Got in a fight with his gf? Are you a loser that's never done anything in life and hate on great warriors? That's probably why
Nah nah nah when your labelled as a sociopath you don't know how to act that's why he's so awkward because he wants to "act" good he wants to look good but he isn't being himself (doesn't mean he's evil maybe he just doesn't care in reality) but when he's pretending that's why he looks like that
@@sadsworth4605 sociopaths have intuition. Assuming Jones doesn't know what "being good' or having good intentions are is just stupid. As a diagnosed psychopath I don't know what it means to have natural good intentions but I see what makes people good and try my hardest to stick to discipline and purpose. Owning your psychopathy is the first step to changing your life. I don't want Jones to be a good guy for his sake, it will only make his lows more intense.

About ten years ago i was at a bar in NY john was there with some gals and some friends. The bar was chill af that night but the best time ever. I just remeber looking at the dude and how respectful he was to everyone. No one but the gals approached him. But we all gave cheers from afar that night. Good luck Bones. Thanks for the drink.
I just realized after seeing the thumbnail, that jones is the real life Kratos.
Even more dangerous, Jon is a sociopath but I love him as a person and a fighter
Bones has a darkness within him as a human being that no other fighter has I think, but that's precisely what makes him the most complete and dangerous fighter of all time. Though he's got that darkness, I do believe he's got good in him that's genuine. But 15 title fight wins is otherworldly shit.
Also, a beautiful documentary. Kudos to the creator!

Been watching Jones for a long ass time and he’s always been special. I loved watching this dude, sucks he couldn’t stay out of trouble but he had so much success at such a young age probably messes with his head abit thinking he was untouchable
Split personality seems like a more accurate description
Feed your demons and they will grow. John is like everyone that harbors the darkness, he needs to really be that person he sometimes pretends to be.
naa the contradiction of his darkness and the pursuit of meaning (guilt) make them grow. A free Jones can live in peace but if only him lives close with nature, family is an imposition for him.
@Jessie he is trapped between obligations and evilness. the problem of jones only arises when he retires. a 40 yrs old jones with an ar15 and a military trained dog and without money or angry of something ...what could go wrong?
@Jessie i think if jones do psychedelic theraphy he could be better but aint that easy. doing shrooms is the easy part but working on yourself take years.
i am happy if a retired jones goes the tyson route.

Ain't no if ands or buts.

this was incredible. very well done man.
Those first few words from John about being born into sin and trying to the right thing is exactly why he struggles to maintain balance.
This was a sick video keep it up
Although very well put together!
It's there really a way of "dealing with those issues"? I'm not sure there is for some inner problems
