I actually feel VERY bad for Mark. He plays with attitude, has maybe more lively charisma than Lemmo, but he doesn't have 15% of the skill and musical pallete that Lemmo has, so yeah, on Norm's youtube channel fans' side it really was "Mark who" after a week or so. Then again Mark was at home at Norm's, totally in the right place, but at Gibson he went in way over his head and the corporate world did to him what it typically does to people with good intentions. The worst thing is he was supposed to be the cool new face of Gibson representing the everyman, but most Gibson "fans" (loud malcontents that somehow behave like they're forced to buy new Gibson products every year) didn't know him beforehand or surprisingly didn't get that he's only the "face" saying what the suits make him say. Now after getting all the blame for the "play authentic" fiasco and Gibson doing nothing to redeem him he's barely even appearing on Gibson's channel. Hope he has a contract that runs out at some point and he can leave the "milking the brand's glory days from 60+ years ago to sell products with no QC whatsover" corporate scam that Gibson became in the last decade or so. JC was supposed to be screwing in more lightbulbs, instead he screwed Mark for sure, and his customers, so screw him.

I'd personally also like to hear how it sounds being whacked till the strings break mid-recording (like Kurt used to), BUT the lady that just bought it for him apparently prefered taste and restraint too, so he made a demo choice that served him best in the long run. ;)
I know Lemmo is a huge asset to @Normans Rare Guitars but come on, this kid should be touring with any of the big bands that shop at this store if that's something he wants to do.

Valtteri Kataja Check out the „Thin Skin“ American Vintage guitars. They are discontinued but u can find those on the used market quite frequently. Or go for the last badge of AVRI Fenders in general. They are pretty much spot-on repros of Vintage Fenders.... also considering the paint job ;)

Just bought this exact guitar but in Olympic White from my best friend since 6th grade. He just pulled it out of his closet one day and said it was his grandpa's old guitar. Best $2,500 I've ever spent. An amazing deal for one of these!
I love Lemmo's guitar demo's. He's such a musical player. Way to often players seem to want to demonstrate their technical ability when demo'ing guitars, but imo nobody is waiting for that. These tunes are so musically played and show the potential of the guitar. If I'd had the money, I'd buy the guitars he demo's only the find out I can't make them sound like this. :D
Honestly thought he was using a looper for Smells Like Teen Spirit at first. Unbelievable playing. Makes it so much better knowing he’ll be playing that badass guitar every day.
This guitar has some serious soul to it, a wonderful combination of warmth and sharpness. It definitely belongs in the hands of Lemmo, someone who can bring out the best in the guitar.

I'm smitten by Candy Apple Red after buying my 2011 Blacktop Jag 90 in that colour Fiesta Red is gorgeous too in it's own way ,Fantastic wear too .this guitar could tell a few stories I'm sure .

It was Fruciante's warm up guitar and even a stage guitar during his second run with the chili peppers, he probably still owns it
