It doesn't matter what movie A24 makes, personally, none of your movies have disappointed me. I haven't seen all of them, but the ones I have seen have always been original, imaginative, some disturbing and unpleasant, but they have never, ever disappointed me.
Theres a Swedish series on Netflix called Love & Anarchy that tackled this idea already. While it's not exactly the same, i.e.: The young man and boss dare each other to do more and more drastic things until it's a full-blown affair, the concept is the near identical.
I'm thinking unless you have a "thing" for beasts, you're going to be disappointed in this one. It's unfortunate they made that part of the movie. They had to cut a ton out so they could release it in theaters and not on pay per view on some weird af k ink site.

It's because she has completely different urges and desires than he's able to fulfil. If he was less attractive of an actor, people would just think she ditched him on the basis of looks.

Yes, but in Basic Instinct Sharon Stone was still one of the hottest women on the planet in early 90s she was in her early 30s, and she was the sex symbol but dangerous psycho not to be trusted--that was her typecast in a lot of movies even on Magnum P.I. and she did it really well. Basic Instinct also wasn't just a movie about sex for sake of sex but it was a thriller. You knew she was most likely this suspected killer, yet the cop protagonist couldn't keep himself away from her. And there's the constant "Is she/Isn't she?" really the killer right until the end. The sex complements the horror/mystery side of it.

Nicole transitioned from A Family Affair to this film featuring another younger male character. I like it. I know that she has taken on roles where she is older than some of her romantic partners, but these two films are consecutive. Nicole is undoubtedly an absolute stunner.

Yes, but in Basic Instinct Sharon Stone was still one of the hottest women on the planet in early 90s she was in her early 30s, and she was the sex symbol but dangerous psycho not to be trusted--that was her typecast in a lot of movies even on Magnum P.I. and she did it really well. Basic Instinct also wasn't just a movie about sex for sake of sex but it was a thriller. You knew she was most likely this suspected killer, yet the cop protagonist couldn't keep himself away from her. And there's the constant "Is she/Isn't she?" really the killer right until the end. The sex complements the horror/mystery side of it.
