I have watched at least 50 videos, and this one was perfect, explains everything clearly, shows everything and how to do, no annoying background music or distractions, no tricks, just clear, precise, well layed out explanation. Thank you.
Agree great job started watching you on other videos over a year ago (I recognized the voice) only reason I watched as your ebike vids I love the builds, mods and explanations as I was learning back then! Thank you!
What a great video. This should win an award and RUclips creators should reference it as exactly how to convey information effectively. Thanks and good job.
interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for how to recondition a lead acid battery try Jadonite Renovate Battery Buddy (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
Increasing the sulfuric acid concentration is detrimental to the performance of the battery, because more will remain as a precipitate and eventually crystallize. His gains probably could have been achived with just distilled water, but hey, that's ONE piece of content that doesn't exist anywhere on RUclips, maybe I should make it...but lead sulfate is nasty stuff.
A lot of people think battery reconditioning is hard however I think I know it's incredibly simple. I have done it hundreds of time before, in fact it's what I do for a living [Check Details Here==> t.co/uUSuy6Yk5g ]. Anybody can recondition batteries, you just need to know the techniques.?
The more we all understand the hazards of reconditioning a battery, the safer we can all be when it comes to maintaining your battery. It just doesn’t make sense to blindly trust that tow truck mechanic trying to make $500 on a battery that just needs to be reconditioned. Did you make your video?
Caution, that is the best method, however, it does not work the vast majority of times; After 40 years as a mechanic i tried everything on batteries; when they are sulfated they are JUNK; ONE cell dies, the whole set of 6 is junk, and it's a shame that the cells are not replaceable one by one, like with the lifepo4s.
I am a Retired Avionics Tech. I forgot more than I learned about Electronics these days. But seriously you have expertly explained the method to keep batteries going and going. You expertly put the correct information that is needed. Now if I can ONLY figure out how to revive an AGM Lead Battery now, LOL The many fires and being not good for Cold Climates without a heat source for them, that the Lithium's are famous for, has led me back to Lead, LOL
It worked! I'd had all but given up on an old SLA.....but following these steps brought it back to life. I added more electrolyte as it charged - the amps went from 0.00 to 0.01 ......and the next morning 0.13.....and before I knew it, the thing was holding 12v. Thanks
I have tried ALL the methods to revive lead acid batteries over the last 55 years! Some of them helped a little most of them turned the battery into junk! I tried this method on my 3 year old motorcycle battery that lost two cells??? don't know why?? I always charge the battery on a tender for a week when removed in the fall and recharge again in the spring for a week prior to going back into service. I have yard equipment batteries that are 12-15 years old and continue to work like new! When I removed the "do not remove" cap string on the battery, I noticed it was bone dry! I took this procedure 1 step further and added batt acid to just cover the plates. The cells took between 20-30 cc's of acid each!! I used a 2 Amp charger, the start voltage was 10.50 V it stayed there for 3-4 hrs. when I had looked at the meter again the voltage was now 11.75 V it was a steady reading. 4-5 hrs later to my pleasant surprise it showed 13.05 Volts! Over night next morning I had 15.88V. I will tenter charge for a week and check the open ckt voltage after 24 hrs. $11.00 for acid to save a $150.00 battery! Thanks for sharing something that actually WORKS!!
Video recording was good, non of that stupid moving camera everywhere. Explanation was good, content was great. You actually did a capacity test and a load test. Great video. I gave you a thumbs up
Kudos for the Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Lammywalness Trendy Trade Guide (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is an awesome exclusive product for learning how to recondition batteries at home without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my close friend Aubrey after many years got astronomical results with it.
There are several components to doing a pro job. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Jons Mender Guide (google it if you're interested) definately the most useful info i've seen. look at this amazing website.
Great video. The chemistry explanation helps with understanding why simply adding distilled water can't rejuvenate a dried out battery that won't take any charge. I loved the tests at the end too!
The real issue is if the battery plates are sulfated or not. If the plates are not sulfated adding distilled water will give you a usable battery. De sulfating with a welder is a little dangerous if you don't realize that the gas coming out of a sulfated battery is not so bad "UNTIL" it starts a rolling boil and realize that the fumes now smell like rotten eggs and burn your eye's. The chemical reaction takes place changing the liquid inside the battery. Remember too that the pre sulfuric acid phase is Hydrogen and Oxygen which is not dangerous BUT for the fact that it is highly explosive if ignited at the concentration close to the battery body. A fan and open area will avoid any issues there.
We used to always charge our dump truck batteries outdoors with a fan blowing away from us and obviously the caps popped off. You never want the batteries, boiling and building up pressure from what I understand. Would love to see a list of all of this guys. Tools and supplies for conditioning has batteries. Still have not found a better educational RUclips video.

here's several tips for battery repairing do not attempt to do this until you know what you are doing - the acid can burn you check the voltage first - there may be a kaput cell which would waste your time. Check the battery fluid. Try to fully charge the battery. (I read about these and more from Jons Mender Guide site )

You have done great in this video. Please do a video on how to setup a battery reconditioning business:advice on the right tools and required materials necessary for the business
Bro... 1. I love how you're explaining everything. 2. Thank you for showing how everything is done. And 3. Everything you say sounds smart as hell lol. I say that with nothing but respect.
When you are finished. Build and use the Bedini "Energizer" to maintain the batteries for years as Sulfate is removed by Pulse charging them via back EMF. Thank you for sharing VUAECO. May you be blessed.
🤩nice final drive 👍for 2 weeks I regenerate 4 gel batteries 12 v/20 ah with the addition of distilled water only, with a desulfator prototype made by me,
There are many components to fixing a car battery. One place I found that succeeds in merging these is the Jons mender guide (check it out on google) without a doubt the most useful course that I have ever heard of. Check out this amazing site.
There are actually few older videos as well as written guides. I've been doing this few years ago, sadly it doesn't fully revive dead battery and it will most likely die in few months. Capacity is also significantly reduced.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover how to recondition old batteries at home try t.co/uUSuy6Yk5g ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.
@@marquishainse5985 It a very Expensive price of 47 Dollars . it big amount cost. give me ida's. My email theengineringzone13@gmail.com ok Thanks. Nasir
I ALWAYS ADDED WATER TO MY SCOUTER BATTERY TO REVIVE IT A BIT. BUT WHAT I REALLY LIKED IN THIS THIS VIDEO IS THE 30% , 2 ML H2SO4 TO THE WATER. NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD NEED ACID. THANKS FOR THE TIP. SUBSCRIBED.
I can confirm that this worked for me on my grandsons TTR110 bike battery. It was totally dead for a long time, would not take a charge. After doing this it changed and starts the bike just fine. Thanks for making this great video.
Excellent video. Very valuable information. I tried this process on almost a dead battery. I had to use trickle charger instead a big battery in parallel. It took about a week for first full charge. Battery has recovered. I am going to try this process on a very big battery.
I brought up a dead Costco interstate with a 20watt solar panel and the exact same solar charge controller used in this video connected directly to the battery. I did add some distilled water. The solar charge controller will charge the battery at exactly .1 volt (1/10 of a volt) higher than whatever charge is on the battery. I think it is better than using another battery to parallel charge. It did take over a week, but this 5 yr old battery was completey restored to something a only little less than new operating power. I also had a brand new non-Interstate car battery and it would only rate between 11.9 V- 12.2V depending how recently I drove the car. When brand new I treated that particular brand new battery to some extra electrolyte in the form of sodium sulfate salt (Na2SO4) which is supposed to quadraple battery life. This didn't make a difference in the performance of the battery with normal car alternator charging. Info from Turquoise Energy did tell me to cycle the battery, but lead acid are not deep cycle and I just relied on the alternator. (Although this sodium sulfate salt chemical is what they use on deep cycle lead acid). It is only when I left a 25w solar panel/$12 charge controller on the battery for a month or more, did I experience sustained higher than average charge levels. In fact, after that, when the car sat for 2 month undriven and uncharged in any way during covid and rain with the battery disconnected, the battery still held 12.5 volts: better than new!! Sulfation is reversible, corrosion is not. Extra electrolyte might help but, it is the trickle charge at the right voltage that makes the big difference. (It is not advised to put sodium sulfate salt into an old battery as it might cause bits to dislodge and short out the battery)
Great comment. Someone else had a similar story with a battery that refused to revive after mag. sulfate and pulse charging sessions. Spent a year on light shed led duty on a solar trickle charger and came back very close to new. Seems like desulfation can work but it can take a lot longer than people expecting to have an overnight fix for their ride's battery.
Man you're awesome. I wish I had people like you around when i was younger. Now I'm 41 crash coursing battery tech. Batteries have always interested me. Supposedly in the future we are supposed to go black. No wifi no cell. No radio. No electric. So a person should definitely learn about batteries
Thank you. Chemistry and circuit diagrams. Explains it to intelligent humans so we can make INFORMED decisions. Much better than a numpty in a garage guessing what he's doing.
Very good video! I have some suggestions: 1. Don't fill the cell until you can see liquid water in the cells. This is an Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) construction which has a fiberglass mat covering the plates. The mats are meant to be about 98% saturated with water, so you should fill them until the mats look damp (wet and shiny when you shine a flashlight into the hole), but not enough to have actual liquid water in the space around the plates 2. Water level always rises when the lead acid battery is charged. So when filling a sulphated battery fill it to the bare minimum, charge it so the water level rises, then top up to the correct level (if necessary) after charging 3. It was interesting that you added battery acid. In theory you should be able to use just distilled water, because the lead sulphate partially dissolved to become sulfuric acid.
It's sometimes necessary to add a small amount of acid since a small amount of sulphur is lost during the charge and discharge cycles. This is why you have to clean the terminals on a non-sealed battery and preferably coat them with anti-corrosion grease. If you want to go to the effort of doing this properly you would top up the cells with water, carefully stick a (preferably lead) probe in there and charge the cells individually, and then use a pH tester and add little bits of acid until the cells were roughly balanced. Not really worth it on a $20 battery, but it's essentially the same process that you would use on much larger, expensive batteries, so it can be good practice. I've been able to get over 10 years out of some of my automotive batteries by making sure to fill and balance them once a year or so. Over filling AGM cells isn't a huge problem, but do note that until enough electrolyte has evaporated to get them down to the proper level again you really need to make sure they remain upright at all times. So don't use this process on portable equipment batteries that might be tipped over. For stationary stuff though it should be fine as long as you don't fill them so full that they overflow during the charging process. Get one of those acid-proof containers to put them in like you would with a flooded battery until the level is proper again.
@@laurenceperkins7468 Very interesting ideas. I recently killed a car battery by not using the car for 2 weeks (it had already been deep-discharged 4 times and I managed to revive it, but finally one of the cells developed a short. Its specific gravity was only 1.1 when all the other cells were almost normal. No amount of charging got rid of the short). I have been wondering for days how I could have charged that cell to balance the battery. You say to put a pure lead probe and charge the individual cell, that's a great idea. How do you do that exactly? Say you want to charge cell #5. The lead plates are the negative plates, so I assume when you put a lead probe in cell #5 it will have the potential of the negative (lead) plates, so you connect that probe to the negative terminal of a 2V charger. Then you put the second probe in the neighboring cell on the side that's closer to the positive terminal (let's say cell #6), put a probe in the acid and use that as your positive terminal. If my logic is correct, the probe in cell #6 will be at the same potential as the lead plate (negative) in cell #6 and hence at the same potential as the positive plate of the target cell (#5) since those plates are electrically connected in series. Is that how you balance-charge a lead-acid battery?
@@LMF5000 More-or-less. Depending on the design it can be horribly difficult to get your probe on just one of the plates though. On some batteries they're quite close together. In that case it's often easiest to (carefully and with proper safety equipment) take the top off the battery. Balance charging won't fix your shorted cell though. That's a much more dangerous process. You either need to disassemble it and recondition the plates (with lots of lead and acid exposure potential) or the shop down the road from me used to top them up with fresh electrolyte and then put them in a special acid-proof, explosion-proof box and dump 200A at 90V through them briefly. The heating makes the scale crack off the plates and burns out any shorts... Or else the battery explodes violently... One of the two. Hence the box.
@@laurenceperkins7468 Oh, you poke the plate with the nail? I thought it was completing the circuit via the electrolyte not by direct metal-to-metal contact. Interesting re the box, but with the considerable dangers of sulfuric acid and lead, and the cheap price of replacement batteries (relative to having a horrible accident with an exploding battery), I've opted to recycle any battery that doesn't recover with conservative charging/discharging/adding water/Epsom salt treatment. Personally I draw the line at pouring out the acid as then I'd have to figure out how and where to dispose of it safely.
@@LMF5000 If you can poke the proper plate with your probe it works a lot better. Otherwise you've got what amounts to another cell of some type depending on the kind of metal the probe is. I don't believe the battery shop still does it for the same reason. The cost of cleanup when one blows is more than the cost of a new battery, so not worth it unless you have no other options. To dispose of the acid, neutralize it with baking soda and then you mostly just have salt and water. There will be a tiny amount of dissolved lead, so I wouldn't recommend drinking it or pouring it anywhere that will take it directly into the ground water. On the other hand, there are places where the ground water naturally has more lead than that in it... So what's safe from there depends a lot on where you are and how many batteries you plan to do this with.
I like this guy patience it is a virtue. That parallel charging is how I saved my very expensive BMW battery connected together with a good battery put it on a charger overnight boom hold voltage before you can charge it all day all night it would not hold voltage past 10 volts now 12.56 solid

Great video ive been getting free sla batteries like in your video from UPS units from a friend. Some have decent voltage some didn't. I watched other videos and was just useing distilled water. The results were very disapointing and furstrating. Thankyou for education. I just got my last batch of free batteries as my friend got a different job so no more free one. So perfect timing to find this. I recycled others incouldnt fix with the acid less process. I'm off the grid so this info is priceless to me. Side note I like seeing the kids electric vehicals I put two 24volt hoverboard batteries ran in parallel in my daughter's mini electric dirtbike it was to much fun to watch. Might try in series. Thankyou sir for the great video.
The chemistry of how battery functions and deteriates was very well explained. Very helpful. Not so sure if battery desulfation process will be successful. A battery recoverable capability varies.
I had no idea that I could try charging the battery with another good battery in parallel. If I ever have a battery that does not want to charge I will try that. thank you very much Sir
Sir, I must admit that I had no faith at all in your approach to put the battery in parallel with a "good Battery" . Also, in the past I was able to Revive 1 battery out of 10. I tried different concentrations of sulfuric acid and also only distilled water. It was a decade ago but I remember using and hydrometer / Densimeter. This is a great video and I appreciate the summary at the end. Congratulations! I am at this moment trying YOUR method with a 70 Amp-Hour Battery used in emergency lights for the who apartment-building .
Thanks for the Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you researched - Lammywalness Trendy Trade Guide (do a search on google)? I am in the process of trying to revive an old sealed lawnmower battery, I found this very useful, the battery is charging now. It may or may not work out but it's interesting to try. I added 5 ml of battery acid and then over the plates with distilled water. I'm using a battery charger with automatic cut off when the battery is charged.... if it makes it. Thanks for the information.
I agree johnathan ..he has explained in a way that's easy to understand more about what the problem is and what is going on thru every step in what ends up being very informative and helpful video. Most people either expect you to just know what they are doing and why and leave you with very little useful information ...or they are to technical. To follow....or they dumb it down so much it's ridiculous ....i am proud you said something ...i am quite impressed with his video and would like to say thank you.
God, that swamp of awful videos on this topic is deep. This video is the one you want, ignore all the others. Great work sir and thanks for making a to the point and factual video.
This is one of the best videos on restoring a battery I have seen. I play around with restoring battery's because I have so many thing that use them. I,m going to try this. I subscribed to your channel, & thank you.
First of all, having watched about 10 videos on this topic, this one is by far the best. I have two 12v lead acid batteries from an old Craftsman trimmer which has been in my shed for over 10 years, not used. They both shows ~5v, using a trickle charger did not work. I followed the process from this video. The first battery, after adding acid and water, fairly quickly went up to around 8v. After that I tried a trickle charger but it still refused to charge it. So I connected it to a car jumper which has a little over 12v. With that, I was able to get the battery to around 10.7v, the trickle charger is still failing. I will continue tomorrow. Also, I didn't see any bubbling but there was a little spill over of the liquid from the cells. I haven't tried the second battery yet. If anyone has any suggestions, would appreciate it. As of now I'm optimistic. Again, thanks! Update: Next morning the battery show 10.3v so it lost a little. I also noticed in 2-3 cells the water level was low so I added more. Now connected the trickle charger and it showed a steady green which should mean that the battery is fully charged, but it is not. I left it on the trickle charger but after 5-6 min it turned the red light. The battery is still at over 10v. This is strange.
Great video man! Thank you for showing the chemistry as people like to “theorize” fixes too much. Right now I’m working on multiple batteries that I’ve managed to desulfate with pulse currents, but I’m going to try and find some new Sulfuric acid which is hard to find around here. Thanks again! 💪👍🎉
I use " PulseTech" 110 Volt battery Desulphaters, they have worked great on 6 Volt, heavily Sulfated Trojan Golf cart batteries. I jump two 6 volt batteries together and use one 12 Volt pulse tech unit. I have three PulseTech units hooked up to my golf cart while not in use. After using the golf cart, I will charge up the cart pack of six 6 Volt Trojan batteries with the big cart charger, ( EZGO Total charge III) then check the battery water level in each cell and reconnect the PulseTech Desulfators. They have brought batteries back from the dead I've picked up at my local NAPA scrap battery pallet also. Sulfuric Acid can be obtained at any plumbing supply that sells building products for septic systems and cess pools which are still around in country areas etc. Septic tank/cess pool pampers will add a 5 gallon pal of sulfuric acid to a pumped out cell pool to break up the "bio mat" at the bottom to open it up and allow it to drain. So point is, sulfuric acid is available at one of these types of supply houses if your in a country area.
Thanks for all the explanation. I might not get it but all good. I still haven’t had the guts to try this yet. But every couple of years I gotta buy batteries for my two project cars. Gonna try this method this year.

I still can`t believe how great this battery reconditioning plan ( Check Details Here>>> t.co/Folp6e7Dkc ) worked. It worked on my drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, and my camera battery; now they are useable again! This is very fun to do also. It really works for any kind of batteries!?
I have revived them with a little Alum solution and distilled water. Put a 100w lamp with streight AC! till lamp lights brightly, then charge normally. The AC cracks the sulfate and allows it to accept a charge. The alum causes the electrolyte to be more conductive and makes the sulfate deposit more porus.
This was very helpful. Thank you for putting this on youtube. I have watched a bunch of videos on rejuvenating batteries. Yours was one of the most useful And helpful. I appreciate it. Thank you!

why do you add 30% mixture of sulfuric acid and then top it off with water? How did you get to the mixture of 30% and how did you calculate how much acid you need and then the top off of water?
Great explanation, can't wait to try this! I also have a Victron Blue Smart IP22 Charger which would attempt to charge even completely discharged battery. I tested it already on my 18ah 12v battery that has a shorted cell the voltage drops to 10.4v soon after charging but it can be used and recharged. See what happens.
I love this video and I have enjoyed it multiple times. I have a thought... Isn't it better to add the sulfuric acid in several small portions, each followed with distilled water. This should theoretically mix the water and acid better and more evenly interact with the lead plates, as these batteries are usually glass matt, meaning no unabsorbed liquid inside.
Nice video, but judging by the fact that some chargers come from factory with an "equalizing" mode, which essentially overcharges the battery at 16v for a period of time, in order to help desulfation with the mechanical movement of the water "boiling" (electrolysis), I think you should have done a few sessions of overcharging and topping off the water, so you could really get the best the battery can still be. Just a thought.
Using an old fashioned 12 volt charger would get it going to charge properly. If a 1 amp charger can be found good but most I think are around two amp. The thing is you must monitor the battery at all times and best away from anyone and outside. On a 10 amp flat battery that would take around 5 hours but I'd try reconnecting a smart charger around the 2 hour mark, the battery should now take a charge. Oh' disclaimer...Do at your own risk! Good video 👍
I don't know where you're from but your accent reminds me of Pauly Fuemana, the Singer from OMC that did the song How Bizarre. Great video by the way. I was just in the shop about to recycle an old SLA battery from my generator and I was like, this thing's only been used half a dozen times. I bet it just dried out. I'm gonna try this technique and see if I can bring it back around.
Congratulations. Good explanations and diagrams. Excellent, steady camera views. Very good video! Thank you. Could use a bit more explanation, early in the video, to know when the process is completed.
So interesting , I was told years ago that batteries can be recovered with a little care . This came from a man that was a former sub mariner and when first started to use a motor cycle because mine hade no battery so he recovered a old one of his .
I just did the water part (I don't have the acid), and the red terminal got hotter, and hotter. I set it outside in the cool for a few minutes, and it was even hotter, so I turned the battery upside down to try to get the distilled water out to no avail. What then happened is it started to make a fizzing sound, so I just now threw it out my front door. I will check up on it in the morning.
You also can use 18 volts at 500 nillamp to desulphate the plates this process takes 20 to 24 hours still using distilled water leaving the caps off to reduce pressure buld up.
You are a fucking G my man, found you through the tire bead break video but this is something I need to do as well. Love your accent too, reminds me of my good friend’s dad 😇
I was searching for an explanation on what's going on inside the battery chemically. I just don't understand the Epsom salt deal. Thanks for the video. I subscribed, even without knowing what your channel is about.

Thank you very much for this. You are the first guy on RUclips that I have seen to come up with real science to charge an old battery.
Caution, that is the best method, however, it does not work the vast majority of times;
After 40 years as a mechanic i tried everything on batteries; when they are sulfated they are JUNK; ONE cell dies, the whole set of 6 is junk, and it's a shame that the cells are not replaceable one by one, like with the lifepo4s.
@@josepeixoto3384 charging and discharging over a couple weeks won't beak down the sulfur build-up?

Still have not found a better educational RUclips video.

check the voltage first - there may be a kaput cell which would waste your time.
Check the battery fluid.
Try to fully charge the battery.

Excellent video!! Thank you. The main ingredient to this is patience, you have already provided the knowledge. Thank you again.
Your son was learning how to ride a wheelie right before your eyes! Cool
Thanks for this! I was about to throw out 2 batteries I replaced from my UPS and realized I can revive them, thanks to you!
Very good video! I have some suggestions:
1. Don't fill the cell until you can see liquid water in the cells. This is an Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) construction which has a fiberglass mat covering the plates. The mats are meant to be about 98% saturated with water, so you should fill them until the mats look damp (wet and shiny when you shine a flashlight into the hole), but not enough to have actual liquid water in the space around the plates
2. Water level always rises when the lead acid battery is charged. So when filling a sulphated battery fill it to the bare minimum, charge it so the water level rises, then top up to the correct level (if necessary) after charging
God bless you, one of the most informative and helpful videos I have ever seen, you are a great teacher.
I like this guy patience it is a virtue. That parallel charging is how I saved my very expensive BMW battery connected together with a good battery put it on a charger overnight boom hold voltage before you can charge it all day all night it would not hold voltage past 10 volts now 12.56 solid

"Next morning the battery show 10.3v" i think you shoud have a short circuit in one of your cells...
Drain cleaner is 93 percent pure
Would the acid not clean inside the battery

I have revived them with a little Alum solution and distilled water. Put a 100w lamp with streight AC! till lamp lights brightly, then charge normally. The AC cracks the sulfate and allows it to accept a charge. The alum causes the electrolyte to be more conductive and makes the sulfate deposit more porus.

This should theoretically mix the water and acid better and more evenly interact with the lead plates, as these batteries are usually glass matt, meaning no unabsorbed liquid inside.
glass matt would be AGM batteries, those are VRLA batteries. I think there is a difference.

I'd like to see a quick list below the video discussing the parts/devices needed or used to recondition the batteries.
I love the chemistry lesson. To know the why is part of knowing the how. Thank you.
Just found your channel, enjoying watching your videos. Great job keep it up
I did something like this last year to Lithium Ion batteries... its works
'Yesn't", lol. I haven't heard that term since primary school. Very informative video.
Does that charger/discharger (Turnigy Accucel-6) work for AGM batteries?
Great job on the video, I will be following your recipe and I'm hoping to have the same results even though there is no guarantees. Thank you.
This came from a man that was a former sub mariner and when first started to use a motor cycle because mine hade no battery so he recovered a old one of his .
seeing that kid enjoyed the extra kick from the amps, awesome!
You are an illustrative tutor. Keep it up
Great job on the video, the batteries and the jeep. Poppin wheelies. Thanks.
Great vid, want test 2 similar batteries, hope I get same results, might try connecting it to work van as I drive during the week.
Internal short
@@realflow100 Yep, it was like a bomb.
Sorry, just read my post and I said 2 ml for 10 A/h battery, that was per cell.
Thanks again
Colin
I was searching for an explanation on what's going on inside the battery chemically. I just don't understand the Epsom salt deal. Thanks for the video. I subscribed, even without knowing what your channel is about.
Epsom salts are an attempt to get the sulphate content of the electrolyte higher.
Amazing video! And cute ending 😊 I subscribed cause I think you’re a cool dude.
That's REAL KNOWLEDGE and prefessionality in DIY works, really happy to follow your channel. Keep it up!
Greatest video about battery reviver proccess in the youtube. Specially when you drove the car!!! LOL great work!!!
Cheers for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Lammywalness Trendy Trade Guide (search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for learning how to recondition batteries at home without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.
yes thank you. I almost did not watch because it seemed loner than others i searched, but most of the others were stupid, this was worth the time. Im in process restoring 4 batteries for an electric bike. Im doing the same thing right down to the solar panel back up.
