You’re wrong - the apex displays the raw brutality of this sport in a way we never had gotten to see. There are ways to fix other issues around the Apex still, but witnessing a fight like Poirier v Hooker in the apex was insane, and something many fans appreciate.
I disagree. it may sound stupid af but the small fight nights feel more like a small community kind of vibe that only the more hardcore fans watch while the ppv feels like holywood I LOVE the both of them taking part you get fitz, felder and cruz in the apex then rogan and dc in the ppv it works man, its awesome
I agree, it's like having a quiet night on your own just chilling back. It has a different, more relaxing vibe. It's familiar & like you say you somehow feel part of a club. Hard to explain but I don't mind one a month.
Firstly, Dana is all about profits so Rev - Exp with the Apex must somehow be greater than not. Is it possible that some live events run at a loss? I think the biggest thing though is that live events require big names to sell tickets & these guys now only fight 1 or 2 times a year or pull out at the last minute which really pisses off fans who've paid $$$ to watch them. If someone pulls out of an Apex fight, Dana literally walks across the road to the PI & grabs someone by the ear.
Well the UFC controls the apex. They don't need to get permission from venues to use it. That's saving money right there. Plus they're able to use it more often which gives the fans more fight nights
@@agentcodybanx8909 I think the points being made are that the Apex is substituting events not adding to them & that whilst live events have greater costs they are nearly always sellouts so should be generating a profit. I think there's more going on that meets the eye.
@samuel3253 yea, the ufc is cheap. They make billions every year but still cut costs on sponsors, venues, and fighter pay. They could easily put on shows at small venues but again, the costs and time it takes to get it all set up isn't worth it when they have the apex to use so freely
The Apex is the best arena in the UFC. Fighters can fight and don't get pressured by fans when they boo and unsettle the fighters to change their style when they don't think its not exciting enough. APEX is the sport in it's purest form
@awfullymenacing really the only benefit of the Apex is that Dana can grab a fighter whenever he needs so it's easier for the fans to get what they came for. If a fighter on the main card gets injured most of the time the whole fight is f'd. Getting a replacement is much easier here. But personally at the end of it all I love the crowd roaring.
I see this video getting a lot of hate but I agree. I do enjoy the raw fighting aspect but the APEX cards are lazy and understacked. Who tf wants to see main events of Pyfer vs Hermansan, Allen vs Muniz, or Dern vs Hill????? Plus a co main and undercard of fighters we’ve never heard of.
I have to highly disagree. I think your opinion is really stupid. I watch fights to see fights not for the "ambiance" of thousands of idiots screaming. That shit is annoying. I prefer quite or no crowd. I don't need pageantry, these are the best fighters in the world. Id watch them even if it was 90s vhs quality video shot under a bridge. I loved the super respectful Japan crowds from back in the pride days and the apex reminds me of that focused feel I appreciate.
I believe that the whole structure of ufc is kinda lame I think that we could go back to smaller fights but with more fights in the event like how it happens on karate or taekwondo or any other conventional martial arts championship Imagine watching half a division fighting among themselves in a event this would be awsome, this way fighters would practice to fight everyone not a single target, also the there wouldn't be anyone benefiting from the matchups and preferential treatment everyone loves a championship like in baki or kengan or ragnarok etc etc
Idk I'm just kinda used to it now. Don't really care... Unless it's a numbered card. But Fight nights in crowded stadiums are a little more hype. Makes it feel more special.

This .
Justin Gaetje Tony Ferguson
Nah it's boring asf and dry
Crowed atmosphere and big stadiums hit different
Nah Apex sucks crowd over hearing the hits.
@@supersoldierx40 atmosphere and the cards are always way better when they have to sell out an arena

@awfullymenacing
Wow brother did I hit a nerve? 🤣
Anyway I don't think Dana cares about your little opinion so deal with it 😭

Yeah that makes complete sense
@awfullymenacingThe bit that I'm unsure about is why don't they just stream live events for the ESPN deal?

Agree mostly with your point. I wouldn't mind seeing a fight night in smaller cities aswell
Im sorry bro this comment section is hitting you harder than Leon's headkick on Usman.

Agreed
Disagree bro, I watch the fights not the crowd

The opposite ... i love listen that bombs
i think they just shouldnt let legends fight in the apex, but for like lower level guys its so much more fun .

@awfullymenacing no, my point was: It's not enough reasons for me to care.
@awfullymenacingLiterally responding to every other comment, hop off the uploader's nutsack
Yeah this is an L fucking take lol.
@awfullymenacingyeah it is
L take
Please keep your opinion for yourself, many of the people here love the apex.
It saves the UFC a TON of money too, they'll never stop using it
I agree
