I was a drug addict for this past decade in its entirety, started when I was 15 and just stopped recently, I’m 27 now. I wanted to be high 24/7 and felt like it was the only way to be alive, I used to hate sobriety and the mindset of sober drug hating people in general, I felt like it made me better and unlocked my true potential when I was high, as well as helping me overcome my shortcomings and shit I went through growing up. I was high 24/7 literally, weed, cough syrup, ketamine, acid, shrooms, nitrous, gasoline, literally anything I could get my hands on. Eventually I came to an epiphany, an realized I didn’t need the drugs, and when I did use them, they turned on me, the highs got less high, and the negative effects got worse, eventually my body rejected every substance, from actual drugs to weed to caffeine and alcohol. now I still have occasional cravings, and struggle with intense anxiety, as well as the reality of a life that has never been truly stable, but I am clean and am slowly lifting myself up, this time by myself. 2020 decade is going to be better
Wojciech Tomaszewski pretty similar in some ways, short effect, euphoric at first, spacy and intensely dissociating when it hits you hard, if you keep huffing it. difference is gasoline causes more dizzyness and headaches or other unpleasant effects, and the hallucinations tend to be wackier in nature, the nitrous is more in your head and more like dxm or ketamine in its dissociative effects. BOTH ARE HARMFUL! gasoline always kills brain cells on a high and can dumb you fast if abused. nitrous is less harmful to brain cells but severely depletes vitamin B12 levels which causes permanent nerve damage with frequent use.

10 years on and still hits like the 1st time it did in 2014 "We done went through too much, you hear me?" "To many days gone by. Sitting by the phone til I reply drying my eyes can't ever feel the tears dropping" That's why his name is Future... Classic Art lives forever...
@@deathfrombelow1193 yeah but it's the same people listening over and over. I opened this video 200 times probably last 4 years, maybe more. It's not on spotify either, that probably boosted views by a couple hundred percent over the years NIGGUH
It’s very heartwarming and mind blowing how we were all in similar circumstances listening to this song, years later we all have gone down unique paths in life. One thing for sure regardless of whether things have gone good or bad, we still bump this song & many other classics Future has blessed us with.
A few years ago I was listening to this song with a newish friend for the first time. A decent ways into the song, out of the comfortable silence, on queue, we both simultaneously yelled "pour it out, pour it out, pour it out" and then impulsively looked at each other grinning. We were immediately bonded and made some great memories for a couple of years. I will always remember that moment....I get if people think it's corny, but it was special, and it doesn't happen with just anyone. I love when music brings people together because of the exact context you describe.
I'm 28 and this song made me cry today thinking of my best friends that passed in 2017 this was one of his favorite songs if I make it to even 50 years old this song is always gonna make me cry same as ripple by the greatfull dead 2 of my bestfriends that passed on favorite songs😢🫂

I've listened to this song so many times that when I hear it, I just close my eyes and I can feel the soul being poured out through the rawness of his voice. This use to be my hype song when I'd get in the car. Now it makes me cry most of the time bc it's just so darn good, you almost relate to the song automatically without knowing the lyrics. Just the pain in his voice makes it relatable.
this song 7 years later… still my go to when i’m feeling down and unmotivated. people don’t understand future has inspired and motivated an entire generation and isn’t just a mumble rapper who glorifies drugs. this man has help me through any trouble in life and is my favorite artist ever. thank you future and god bless anyone listening 🦅
christian rucker christian rucker I honestly don't think even future will ever produce a song like this ever.. in all past music and present there is no song that song it's like Shakespeare of song.🎤🎵🎼🎶
This what I think about the meaning of the video: The video starts with him zoned out on a chair in a small party room which represents the depression he feels after the party ends, his friends are gone, and all he has is his codeine.. He starts off lying on the ground of the ‘codeine world’, close to overdosing until the angel comes and wakes him up and gives him energy to keep going. He starts to get his motivation back and rapping with more enthusiasm. The angel lady then brings him to the grave of OG Double, trying to show Future where he’ll be soon if he continues with his addiction. He then gets woken up from his lean dream at 3:03 with a new energy and motivation to keep going. At 4:10 the lady leading him downstairs is his professional, business part of his personality. At the end of the day he has to be professional and take care of business but his codeine addiction makes it hard.

He has so many similar songs it's not even funny man you can find a cry for help in every Future track.
These kind of songs don't sell man. It's either bangers or straight up pop songa for these rappers.
37M views f u mean not selling?????????
@@deathfrombelow1193 yeah but it's the same people listening over and over. I opened this video 200 times probably last 4 years, maybe more. It's not on spotify either, that probably boosted views by a couple hundred percent over the years NIGGUH
DeathFromBelow 11 yea this got 37 but lowlife got like 450m it’s not hard to see what songs be selling
This song helped me a lot 🫡
@@joshs3991I love that , reminds me of me and my boy
Some people will never understand how fucking hard this song is. I’ll be bumping this shit when I’m 70 probably shed a tear fr

Its already a classic but almost 10 years 💯✅
I've listened to this song so many times that when I hear it, I just close my eyes and I can feel the soul being poured out through the rawness of his voice. This use to be my hype song when I'd get in the car. Now it makes me cry most of the time bc it's just so darn good, you almost relate to the song automatically without knowing the lyrics. Just the pain in his voice makes it relatable.

christian rucker Took me years to realize how good it is.
#InstaClassic
christian rucker christian rucker I honestly don't think even future will ever produce a song like this ever.. in all past music and present there is no song that song it's like Shakespeare of song.🎤🎵🎼🎶
christian rucker you can tell he put his heart&soul into it
christian rucker one of my faves strictly on repeat 👌💯🔥🚒
This what I think about the meaning of the video:
The video starts with him zoned out on a chair in a small party room which represents the depression he feels after the party ends, his friends are gone, and all he has is his codeine..
At the end of the day he has to be professional and take care of business but his codeine addiction makes it hard.
wow, u're genius, thank you
Nicely put mate I actually get it. those scene's with him at the window are amazing BTW.
that's genius bro
if future did this intentionally he is better than Shakespeare

2:04 - 2:51 is one of the greatest stretches in hip hop history no exaggeration
