@@jatingupta4026 I really doubt this, the mantra the Tim Cook uses is basically "small changes, longer time" which completely cuts off any actual thoughtful innovative thinking, and as a result people will get the same thing all over again, plus the Vivo 200x pro is hard to beat in terms of chip efficiency, Iphone 16 looks like a joke next to it, and will barely do anything to the chip really, lets be honest, don't buy Apple, just get something tbat makes sense.

It's wonderful to witness Vivo receiving well-deserved recognition. They've made significant progress and are doing exceptional work. However, it seems they're still not discussed as much as they should be.
Indeed, they are mainly based in eastern countries so it's only logical to think you won't hear of them here. But thanks to mrwhosetheboss a lot of us have now.

A great phone overall, still. I'm pleased as a user for about 4 months with a great price back then. Camera is super sharp and it's even not an ultra version (no global edition sadly)
I imported a Vivo X100 pro to America and everytime it's time to take pics all my friends and family (Samsung and Apple users) tell me to take pics with my phone

I bought my wife a VIVO X100 earlier in the year as we were doing a lot of travelling and wanted the best camera phone. It took great photos and videos every time. On top of that it is very fast, battery charges incredibly quickly with its 120kw charger and seems to last forever. No wonder the updated X200 was rated so highly.

as someone who resides in a place where chinese phones are very easy to get, they don't last as long as Apple/Samsung/Google, they are VERY GOOD at the first year of use, but eventually problems arise and you'd start thinking of changing phones.
@@gemyellow I can't really speak for the newer phones but my Huawei Nova 2i has been going strong for 6 years now. And a lot of my friends have 3+ year old Chinese phones too. It's all a matter of what you're expecting from your phone. If you want to keep absolute peak performance, most phones, even apple and Samsung would last like 2 years max. Otherwise you'll be fine to use it as an everyday regular phone.

As an iphone user - no ai in a phone "built from the ground up with ai..." I honestly think apple has become too big and are making mistakes getting complacent. They will lose the crown. Like this control centre garbage, crap new photos app, no update to frustrating to use airpods max (after 4yrs), among many other things. It all goes against what made apple rise to the top - making great products.
It's not really that crazy. Apple has been riding the popularity of their name for a while now while bringing very little to the table. People are finally catching on and just going for something which is better value for money or at least has newer and better features.
As someone who has the Vivo X100 Pro, it's good to see Vivo getting some credit for their phones. When I first got my X100 Pro it felt like a huge leap forwards in terms of the camera.
I've been using iQOO devices(Vivo's sub-Brand) since 2021. When I got my new device this year, it was still an iQOO. I'm typically not a brand loyalist and keep switching brands, Vivo thoroughly impressed me.
I have dedicated my life to reviewing Chinese ROM phones, to see Arun giving companies like Vivo, Xiaomi and Honor the credit they deserve is truly amazing! You are the GOAT my friend!

I’m an iPhone 15pro user but honestly so pleased you didn’t award Apple this year. Their whole approach feels lazy and unpolished these days. IOS 18 is a crime, the whole thing is buggy and over complicated. I used to love iPhones for that clean minimalist feel they had but this update has killed that. Oh and the photos app is just unusable
I agree..got 16PM and Im happy with it ..but the camera is stepdown from Ultra I switched from. Colors are terrible like 30% of the time ( indoor its like 90% of the time). Video is still the best, but competition comes close each update.
And still I bet you that Arun didn't switch to the Vivo as a daily driver. This award to Vivo was just so he could make things different this year. We all know that if given the choice 99% of people would choose the Samsung or the IPhone over the Vivo.
Yeah I had the same take until I realised that it exists in a world with Redmi, Oneplus and the Galaxy A55 which all compete at a cheaper price. It's one of those phones that want because they have a level of quality that is better than budget phones mentioned above but when you finally decide to buy one, you find a discounted flagship with higher quality at the same PRICE. ie. Samsung Galaxy S23 / Oneplus 11
True, but it is relatively new (next gen) which directly competes with Xiaomi 15. The Xiaomi 14, was released in early 2024, makes a significant contribution to keeping compact phones competitive for 2024 market.

i think oppo fx8pro deserves the overall winner bcos it looks and feels better than vivo(camera bump is less protruding in oppo)and the colorOs is better than funtouch Os and cameras are very similar, topnotch

The problem with Chinese smartphones like Vivo and Xiaomi is that their software works perfectly out of the box, but after an Android update, you won't have the same experience anymore. I've personally experienced this with OnePlus and Xiaomi phones, where the latest update left the device with bugs that were never fixed. However, after several years with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, everything still runs as smoothly as it did on day one.
I agree with that for mi,oppo and honor. But vivo is a hidden gem interms of software experience. I still use my Vivo v23 pro as my second phone along with my iPhone 16pm , trust me it’s still as good as new.Even the cheapest of the cheap vivo phone last longer than a Samsung flagship.(burnt my hands with s21 ultra and 22 ultra)

No doubt it's a great device in its own standing. In competitive markets like Asia, S24U gets absolutely smoked by the likes of OnePlus12 and iQOO 12(Vivo sub-brand). Both these Chinese devices are priced at less then half of what the S24U is, coupled with a battery that charges way faster.

Actually Vivo brand is very underrated in Europe! I have my Vivo X100 pro with Chinese room and with the origin os 5 I can finally have Android Auto, with an amazing camera and battery! Thumbs up for Vivo. By the way I got the Vivo X100 Pro with 1TB by 760€!!!

I have s24Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra with photographer kit, today in my opinion wins who bringing to the table something more than stable system, fast processor and bright screen. Samsung and Apple they already forget about innovations in hardware, they giving to as only better software and for last 4 years those phones didn't change anything, Im more than 10 years premium Samsung user and specially last 3 years I receive identical phones with identical all over performance, iPhone is same like Samsung, boring. Yesterday I bought for my holidays new phone because camera features, Xiaomi 14 Ultra and have to say that this phone make me happy first time from many years, distance in picture quality between this phone and s24Ultra surpliced me so much, only thing that Samsung have better is UI, I hate UI in Xiaomi, it tries to be like iPhone, handicap like iPhone, Samsung doing it better, but hardware belongs to Xiaomi for sure, I love it, after my holidays I will decide which phone keep and which give up. I don't want to say Samsung is bad, in my opinion is better than iPhone, but is boring, zero exiting, I thing its right why s24 win this competition, overall best stable and universal flagship, but little rusty in hardware. Honestly, I have an iPhone and the only reason I’m not transitioning to a new company is because of how much I would spend to fully integrate into a new group. As in I have the iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Apple Watch. This was slowly over 3 years but I can’t help but admit that I would rather have a galaxy. I was hoping my mind would change the more I dove into the iPhone ecosystem but it really hasn’t. I’m honestly thinking of selling everything but my iPad to get the next galaxy if it worth it

As a person who has 2 mid range vivo's, BOTH OF THEM ARE ACTUALLY BRICKED WHEN I TURNED ON, One was an 2015 (?) vivo phone that my parents bought me, And a few years later (in 2020, I think) My vivo, Just... Bricked when I open the phone, It just shows the vivo logo, FOR LITERAL HOURS, I waited until it was done, my mom throwed away the phone and kissed it goodbye, The second phone that I had was a Vivo S1 Pro, Which it did not brick just once, BUT TWICE. (Or even more times I think) One day, Tuition was off, And I was excited to play my secondary phone for this, But with horrible timing, My vivo... Just BRICKED, Again, It showed the vivo logo, FOR LITERAL HOURS. And I took good care of it, I only played games and crap, I did NOT throw anywhere and stuff, And my mom had to go to a repair shop for this! Second time, I was powering my vivo, And again, IT HAPPENED, AGAIN!!! What is this, My phone having some disability? And btw, I've took good care about it too, I think My vivo has screen protector too? Like it's so retarded, WHY?! I swear to God, It's like my vivo has dementia, Like Jesus. when you record using iphone 16 pro max the video looks very bad...try pausing and playing many times or use 0.25x speed .when it pauses the video looks blurry but try to do the same on vivo x200 pro ..when it pauses or using 0.25x the video doesn't blur at all (2160p).. good job vivo 👍
Absolutely agree about the camera. Vivo definitely deserves a lot more attention then other brands such as Samsung or Apple. Their smartphone photography is just a next level. I'm using is as a daily driver 😊
And also for your to know, guys, Vivo recently released the global version of Vivo X200 pro. Yes, it might be a quite more expensive than the chinese version (+25%) - but it still costs less than the iPhone LUL, and you even can get it cheaper on some AliExpress Sales. But you get the phone with no questions tha works without problem all over the world and even the US. So yeah, great smartphone. The only thing I wish it would have - it's 2k screen, and the best vibro and speakers on the market (trust me, it's very good, just awesome - but not the best)

I bought my wife a VIVO X100 earlier in the year as we were doing a lot of travelling and wanted the best camera phone. It took great photos and videos every time. On top of that it is very fast, battery charges incredibly quickly with its 120kw charger and seems to last forever. No wonder the updated X200 was rated so highly.

as someone who resides in a place where chinese phones are very easy to get, they don't last as long as Apple/Samsung/Google, they are VERY GOOD at the first year of use, but eventually problems arise and you'd start thinking of changing phones.
@@gemyellow I can't really speak for the newer phones but my Huawei Nova 2i has been going strong for 6 years now. And a lot of my friends have 3+ year old Chinese phones too. It's all a matter of what you're expecting from your phone. If you want to keep absolute peak performance, most phones, even apple and Samsung would last like 2 years max. Otherwise you'll be fine to use it as an everyday regular phone.

I honestly think apple has become too big and are making mistakes getting complacent. They will lose the crown. Like this control centre garbage, crap new photos app, no update to frustrating to use airpods max (after 4yrs), among many other things. It all goes against what made apple rise to the top - making great products.

As someone who has the Vivo X100 Pro, it's good to see Vivo getting some credit for their phones. When I first got my X100 Pro it felt like a huge leap forwards in terms of the camera.
I've been using iQOO devices(Vivo's sub-Brand) since 2021. When I got my new device this year, it was still an iQOO. I'm typically not a brand loyalist and keep switching brands, Vivo thoroughly impressed me.

I’m an iPhone 15pro user but honestly so pleased you didn’t award Apple this year. Their whole approach feels lazy and unpolished these days. IOS 18 is a crime, the whole thing is buggy and over complicated. I used to love iPhones for that clean minimalist feel they had but this update has killed that. Oh and the photos app is just unusable
I agree..got 16PM and Im happy with it ..but the camera is stepdown from Ultra I switched from. Colors are terrible like 30% of the time ( indoor its like 90% of the time). Video is still the best, but competition comes close each update.

The problem with Chinese smartphones like Vivo and Xiaomi is that their software works perfectly out of the box, but after an Android update, you won't have the same experience anymore. I've personally experienced this with OnePlus and Xiaomi phones, where the latest update left the device with bugs that were never fixed. However, after several years with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, everything still runs as smoothly as it did on day one.
I agree with that for mi,oppo and honor. But vivo is a hidden gem interms of software experience. I still use my Vivo v23 pro as my second phone along with my iPhone 16pm , trust me it’s still as good as new.Even the cheapest of the cheap vivo phone last longer than a Samsung flagship.(burnt my hands with s21 ultra and 22 ultra)

Honestly, I have an iPhone and the only reason I’m not transitioning to a new company is because of how much I would spend to fully integrate into a new group. As in I have the iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Apple Watch. This was slowly over 3 years but I can’t help but admit that I would rather have a galaxy. I was hoping my mind would change the more I dove into the iPhone ecosystem but it really hasn’t. I’m honestly thinking of selling everything but my iPad to get the next galaxy if it worth it
You can try to learn about oppo and vivo. They have done a lot of work to be compatible with Apple devices, including connecting to MacBook, etc.

Bricked when I open the phone, It just shows the vivo logo, FOR LITERAL HOURS, I waited until it was done, my mom throwed away the phone and kissed it goodbye,
The second phone that I had was a Vivo S1 Pro, Which it did not brick just once, BUT TWICE. (Or even more times I think)
One day, Tuition was off, And I was excited to play my secondary phone for this, But with horrible timing, My vivo... Just BRICKED, Again, It showed the vivo logo, FOR LITERAL HOURS. And I took good care of it, I only played games and crap, I did NOT throw anywhere and stuff, And my mom had to go to a repair shop for this!
Second time, I was powering my vivo, And again, IT HAPPENED, AGAIN!!! What is this, My phone having some disability? And btw, I've took good care about it too, I think My vivo has screen protector too? Like it's so retarded, WHY?!

when you record using iphone 16 pro max the video looks very bad...try pausing and playing many times or use 0.25x speed .when it pauses the video looks blurry but try to do the same on vivo x200 pro ..when it pauses or using 0.25x the video doesn't blur at all (2160p).. good job vivo 👍
Absolutely agree about the camera. Vivo definitely deserves a lot more attention then other brands such as Samsung or Apple. Their smartphone photography is just a next level. I'm using is as a daily driver 😊

And also for your to know, guys, Vivo recently released the global version of Vivo X200 pro. Yes, it might be a quite more expensive than the chinese version (+25%) - but it still costs less than the iPhone LUL, and you even can get it cheaper on some AliExpress Sales. But you get the phone with no questions tha works without problem all over the world and even the US. So yeah, great smartphone. The only thing I wish it would have - it's 2k screen, and the best vibro and speakers on the market (trust me, it's very good, just awesome - but not the best)
