The laptop "holder" I think was supposed to be stuck on the hinge area, so that you dont have to rip the adhesive everytime you want to open the laptop
The reason the knock candle cannon thing didn't work is the shape of it. Air cannons work best with the telescopic round shape. I haven't seen your video on the Candle Cannon, but it looks like a mini Airzooka.
Also noticed that everytime with the knockoff he was letting the recoil push the cannon down thus aiming the air at the body of the candle instead of the flame.
I honestly think there's a case to be made to patent these kinds of products for the sole purpose of keeping people from creating mountains of cheap plastic garbage trying to cash in. On the other hand, I could see that laptop strap being CRAZY useful in a number of use cases. From someone working at a data center, having to move from server to server to plug in their laptop, to a college student moving between classes, to basically anyone who is using a laptop while expected to go between places constantly.
the adhesive on their laptop holder can also hold dust, hair, dirt, and other things that LOVE sticking to sticky surfaces, the grabber has a cartoony and smart design.
If I were forced to use one or the other, I'd definitely take the adhesive Mac holder just because it looks WAY safer. That said, I suppose the best option would be combining the two, i.e. a smaller adhesive cover that the hand hooks on instead of the grip. Though the cover wouldn't look as nice as that one which covers most of the laptop.

I had a massive air cannon like that when I was younger. You pulled back a bag on the back with elastic and it made a massive amount of air come out. It would probably move a cake. yours is like a tiny version of it. I believe it was called an airzooka.

1:19 this is a very old and popular type of tool/toy. Back in 2017 I went to a science fair and there was a big one of those things. I’d be surprised if a candle blowing product using that technology hadn’t already existed
Your first product made me remind I used to play as kid with a kind-of candle air cannon made with a plastic bottleneck and a ballon tied over the bottle threaded edge, then i loaded it with a pebble and use it like a slinger to shot cans, aim practice, and so on. Locals called it ball shooter(closest translation) or "tirabolitas" in spanish
The candle canon reminds me of trying to make my own BB gun when i was about 10 - Basically I got cardboard tube after throwing away the aluminium foil , cut the back end of a balloon, tied it normally and taped the hole over the tube. It wasn't very precise and only lasted about 20 shots, but it would send bb's across the room lol
We had fourvabrooms at a hardware store I worked at, they never sold so I don’t know what people thought of them and eventually the warehouse bought them back lol

The mini air cannon is definitely better than the one from Amazon, the laptop holder and the broom with the vacuum cleaner are much better than the ones you made, especially the laptop holder, it feels safer, with the other one I was very anxious to see that it is about to fall. and the last one is a tie for me, both look pretty good

I actually like the other laptop holder. But first of all, you don't need to peel it off every time. It's like a laptop case. Secondly, if it used not the adhesive but a high-friction material like you did, it would be perfect.
I spent the whole segment about the Work-Oney trying to figure out how I can make it a working prototype that’s functional and comfy. I ended up making a magnetic button up shirt and a pair of soft towel fabric jeans that are completely unattached 😎
One laptop holder is more secure, the other looks way cooler. Ultimately I’d go with neither because I don’t wanna get mugged

Ok adhesive rules for dummys, peel one side and apply to item. Peel other side and apply to item. All done and no ripping glue to get it apart.
