Is that a suicide plan from begin, I don't think he could foresee Jinx would be there and I don't think he has any things to neutralize Warwick in that state either. What do you guys think?
What “parent” are you speaking of that would stop the child? Like what? LMAO the kid idolizes Jinx, she was away at the time, and Isha wanted to defend the undercity. I feel like it’s not that hard of a concept to catch on to.
For anyone wondering, Warwick in the game can sense if a enemy is injured(bleeding) and follows the smell of the blood increasing his movement speed, that's why he can track Singed, they made it so cool in Arcane.
Warwick is a champion from the game, a pretty beloved one too. Vander doesn't exist in the original League lore. But Warwick in-game has voicelines with Jinx and Vi that hint at a deeper connection between the characters. For example: "The fear in your eyes... I've seen it before..." which references Vi's first reaction to Shimmer Vander in S1E3. Another example, between him and Jinx is: "You were there... let me forget..." And in his lore, this can be found: "Warwick struggled to recall a single memory from his past... All he could see was blood. But then *he heard a little girl screaming. Screaming something he couldn’t understand. It sounded like a name."* which, now, references Powder calling for Vi at the end of S1E3. So basically, to make things a bit clearer, Vander's heart likely stopped beating after he hit the ground, hence him becoming unresponsive and not breathing. But that didn't mean he wasn't able to be resuscitated, which Singe took advantage of, since Vander was in no condition to stop him from experimenting on him. Then, over the course of the timeskip, all the way up to S2E3, Singe was turning Vander into Warwick, using a combination of shimmer and chemtech (chemtech is all the green liquid that flows often through prosthetics and machinery in the Undercity, hence it's overwhelming green hue.
This is the worse timing for Caitlyn to become commander : Jayce is gone, Mel is gone, she had a fight with Vi. Everyone who could have put some senses into her are gone. She is basically all alone, only motivated by anger and sorrow, and Ambessa took advantage of that, amplifying that feeling, becoming her mentor, slowly taking control of Piltover and the Hextech via Caitlyn. But we see in this episode that Caitlyn has doubts about her, and that she doesn't agree with everything Ambessa do. So there is hope lol.
Yes, Piltover has never cared enough for the citizens who live in Zaun. But let's not confuse willful ignorance with deliberate actions. As shown by Jayce's reaction, not knowing that hex tech would have possibly caused that effect, he just didn't consider the ramifications it would have (another example of undercity neglect). As for the air down there as well, we hear in the secret information of the Kiramman family, Caitlyn's predecessors were the ones who created the ventilation system, saying "the undercity deserves to breathe." Piltover has many many flaws and they certainly have segregated those in the undercity and not given them the same care as the other citizens for a long time, but let's get the facts straight. Piltover's otherization of those in the undercity, combined with neglect and mistreatment led to understandable revolt by Zaunites for many years, which in turn thanks to the efforts of Vi, Caitlyn, Mel, Jayce, and Ekko caused Piltover's council to vote in favor of Zaun's independence and peace at the end of last season (which was then ruined by Jinx's attack). In turn further solidifying the view of Zaunites as "the enemy" in the minds of Piltover citizens, exacerbated by Ambessa's warmongering, leading to the current war-like situation. What's great about Arcane is that there's no straightforward good and evil. All the characters are so well-written and have good reasons for all their actions, the results of which rarely match their intentions, which is realistic, and leads to the absolute chaos we get in the show.
One thing that doesn't translate super well between League and Arcane is that Zaunite technology post-Shimmer is dominated by Chemtech, which is the green slime stuff is replacing the Shimmer purple in most functions. Its not as potent but they use it for literally everything and its way easier to make than Shimmer was. Warwick is the apex of Chemtech, a literal hybridized super cyborg, that combines the bestial fury of a wolf with the cunning of a man.

I'll be straight up honest....with their respective personalities, I would have thought that Vi would have been the one who would have gone down the self-destructive behavior role of just sleeping around with multiple women, and Cait would have been heartbroken and just thrown herself into work... But no...Cait did BOTH. Well...maybe not fully, but I have to believe that Maddie was the one that initiated everything with Cait, because I honestly just can't see Cait starting ANYTHING with her on her own. Maddie HAD to be the one actively pursuing her....and part of me thinks now that, despite her "advice"....Ambessa put her up to it, especially after the comment she made to Vi in episode 6..
It's now official that Vander has transformed into Warwick (LoL character) but ofc his in a incomplete state, later on i believe he will become more werewolf like with a big bushy tail. Hehe
Fun fact in case people don't know: Warwick is not a real werewolf project, although in the series they primarily show the Murk Wolves as part of the experiment. He is actually more like a chimera, this becomes clearer in the final results of the experiment (at the moment the project would still be incomplete), the in-game model is mostly lupine, but has other characteristics such as a fox tail and bat ears.
My understanding a fair amount of time has passed, maybe a month I feel bad for the firelights Losing their leader and their tree but I don’t get why they would join Jinx’s revolution so easily
There is a 3-6 month jump between acts, confirmed by writers. For your last point, it's because Noxian soldiers beat the shit out of them on the streets for no reason and they are suffering under the martial law. It's about banding together to survive, their suffering under piltover has always been their common cause. Jinx/Silco's group and Firelights were opposing factions. Now, there is a new opponent that threatens everyone's daily life in the undercity. "Enemy of my enemy" and all that. This is what Sevika was appealing to in the rally.

What “parent” are you speaking of that would stop the child? Like what? LMAO the kid idolizes Jinx, she was away at the time, and Isha wanted to defend the undercity. I feel like it’s not that hard of a concept to catch on to.
It's funny that Rana seemed upset at the "dog" fighting scene, but it's fine if they are small 🤣
Sevika also knows Jinx is Powder
fun fact, that in the cave was not 2 wolfs, its a TwoHeaded Wolf its a mob on legue of legends
For anyone wondering, Warwick in the game can sense if a enemy is injured(bleeding) and follows the smell of the blood increasing his movement speed, that's why he can track Singed, they made it so cool in Arcane.
You can see Vander's body hanging in Singed lab on Arcane 1 on the cave
Whenever the Normies react to something with sides and Chris isn't around, they always seem to lean towards the fascists.
The "Hound of the Underground" is back and is on the loose.
Warwick, a beast on heat, My kind of Champions, Ive been main him for so long time, glad he get the spot light as vander
Another example, between him and Jinx is: "You were there... let me forget..."
And in his lore, this can be found: "Warwick struggled to recall a single memory from his past...
I broke when he said "Powder" 😭
Yeah. Knew it was Vander all along. But when he uttered that, my eyes just....
Jinx goes 1v1 with Warwick and that's your title 🙄 still no respect lol
Their editor is desperate to get more views from rage bait clicks. xD
and they really were expecting ambessa to take on warwick lol
Good news, Jinx: you didn't actually kill your dad! Bad news: he's now a ferocious beast.
I wish atleast one person on the crew played League so they could provide some insight lol
I keep forgetting that people don't know about Vander becoming Warwick
This is the worse timing for Caitlyn to become commander : Jayce is gone, Mel is gone, she had a fight with Vi. Everyone who could have put some senses into her are gone. She is basically all alone, only motivated by anger and sorrow, and Ambessa took advantage of that, amplifying that feeling, becoming her mentor, slowly taking control of Piltover and the Hextech via Caitlyn. But we see in this episode that Caitlyn has doubts about her, and that she doesn't agree with everything Ambessa do. So there is hope lol.
NORMIES, do not forget the guys from Piltover that you are calling saints poisoned the trees in the under city with hex tech.
And the the air. People don't like revolution.
😌👌👌@@Badwolf5630
18:04 Navi knows! Love this reaction!
This eps was epic the especially the cinematic scene with the general waiting at the bridge and preparing for Vander
I need Marketa here for the finale
this title is wild btw
i get mad whenever someone says or hints that they think netflix created arcane I don't know why my blood boils from hearing that.
The green and blue eyes are from the two headed wolf that Singed approached and killed at the end of episode 1. ONe had blue eyes one had green eyes. anmd in the prologue of episode 2 u see one of each i na dish on singed's table
Vender was created to give Warwick (a champion from LoL) a deep backstory but we yet to see his last transformation to a fully wargwolf head ...
The Start of Season 2 Act 2: The Escalation, 4-6 Months Later we’re catching up with Jinx and Caitlyn before Vi and it seems like Jinx is apparently in a more Protagonist like Role now, at least for this Act.
Things are just going to get wilder from here, you’re not ready.
1:28 the cast, the music, and the animation(quality and quantity)
Act 2 is genuinely amazing
Warwick is a champion in game
Hound of the underground !!!
All of the music they used in the show of season 2 instantly went on my playlist after 10 seconds of listening to them there so good they know how to make great songs
Sheesh Spidey's the new Pat
Well remember if Jinx did go to the Rally she would most likely have been captured and taken to Ambessa and Caitlyn and possibly killed....
Man, i want to see how they react to ep 5-6!
the normies foreshadowing in this episode is insane.
Besides Arcane budget production still cheaper than the last animated Spider Man movie, the Despicable Me trilogy and such
5:33 He is funny 😂😂😂
thats why vander was called the hound of the underworld
Im proud of myself. Ive never played League of Legends but i was thinking that the beast was Vander! 😄😌
$250 million for the equivalent of six 2-hour movies isn't really that much when you think of the costs of, like, Marvel movies
My understanding a fair amount of time has passed, maybe a month
I feel bad for the firelights
Losing their leader and their tree but I don’t get why they would join Jinx’s revolution so easily
LMAO Rana is the definition of "armchair warrior". I wonder how much torture she would be able to endure.
Not much 😂
Calm down it's not that serious
She is right though. Real torture doesn't work like this, it's been thoroughly documented. If they last that long people don't give up information. They either spill the beans right away or lie. They never spill anything once they have been tortured for that long.
@@Espada4Ulq not an absolute. Also, has not prevented the continued use of torture.
Youre really on the mission to show everyone you're 12yo.
ok I was wrong this is the best show online rn🤣
League of Legends players already knew from the beginning that it was Vander
An Adc vs a Jglr. Ofc Jinx is Toast. It’s Warwick, the hound of zaun
I was waiting for this
Man im going crazy. Thought i heard the URF song played in the intro when they introduce themselfs. Or am i?
Ok i heard it in the outro aswell xD. It's not that song but werry werry similar xD
BABY IM PRAYING ON YOU TONIGHT
I’m convinced if these guys were in arcane they would be the council members who were dicks for no reason and ignore everything they act like zaun is a chill place and they got no reason to be upset
they really don't, y'all love to overfocus so much on one sentence they say and ignore everything else and proceed to get mad when it does not line up exactly with your take on the episode.
@ u clearly haven’t watched there reviews
I think it just goes to show how good the writing is that you can root for Jinx but see how Caitlyn's fall to dictatorship understandable
@@coldfury2652 I wouldn't reply what I did if I haven't
Jinx is not a terrorist freedom fighter.
0:36 CYberpunk Jesus

@@roryasrorri701 it needs more gears for that
The hound of the underground
Warwick is the name of the character in the game.
Is it just me or Isha did that on purpose?
cuz that was definitely a smirk when she got knocked out right?
