I cannot understand for life what LoK Rebirth devs were smoking, they have a SOLID foundation with great 2D visuals, fun gameplay, and overall high quality game feel.
Krystal is literally cursed, what a shame, because she is probably the only one likeable furry in the universe.

The fact that this game got dropped still makes me mad to this day
be thankful there's a serviceable amount of good H-animations within what's left of its corpse
even if it took about 19 years, i'm glad blue lady from gamecube game birthed "Waterfall BJ scene" and a slew of other oral theme animations

To be fair the "Day Night Simulator" was the best, and was the only one to really have a meaningful story. Having to do jobs that progressively make you more corrupt and also more integrated and accepted into the village, with an option to try and stay pure. That formula or plot translated into Orcs and Fantasy rather then Lizardmen and Sci-fi, is what Kingdom of Deception is.
Version G definitely wasn't the best. a completed game, mind you.
some wankers seemed fond of the writing and setup, but it was legit one of the worst for the most important function:
Sex
The thing that makes games featuring this character, good.
Sex. 0 climax.
All gimmick loops for the job system.
there may be forum based people that really enjoy a good story.
though even with everything Version G provided..
A game where Fox and Krystal are stood in a room.
there are inputs to initiate different positions, speeds, with explosive climaxes.
That, would still be a better experience than Version G and the most recent unfinished LoK game.
it could be fox, a big lizardman, any male/female combo. so long as it fits the Playshapes theme.
the reason v0.8 is still a good game to load up is because you can have Sexy Blue play Kama Sutra with a few lizardmen.
there is no fulfilment in an anticlimactic loop.
i think the desire of some seeking a sub-par game featuring blue fox lady, is really odd when you can just:
Do sex, with gameplay afterthoughts.
Not the other way round.
That and because it wasn't a Star Citizen RPG 3D, with combat mechanics, survival, F1 racing, open world, and it's been 5 years without being “something”.

The fuck are you talking about, there was indeed sex in that. If you want just sex and nothing but, rule34 and rule34 video are much better outlets.
You don't want a game, you just want a collection of porn videos.

As a sincere and genuine question, is this what players want? Personally, I would want that, but maybe with a some stuff locked behind small progress.

I think the main issue with a lot of these ambitious projects is that they often forget that they're PORN games. To keep things relevant to LoK, just look at how Pizza Hot has spanned out. It's been going on for years and there's still no actual sex to be seen. You got to have some kind of carrot on a stick to keep people interested if you want to work on putting some real meat in the game.

No, it seems what I said is more on the money, with how many people liked my post in such a short amount of time, vs the others.
This said there are people for both types, just ones being very vocal here.
There are people like me who want a lot of build up, edging, and slow burn, with a nice big pay off.
And people that want cereal for dinner.

Its not. The main issue with the relaunch of this game is that it started out with "gameplay, sex afterthought"
I think what most people want is to have both in good measure. Maybe a bit more on the sex side, but either way people are happy if the game has both and gets regular substantial updates. The issue is that none of that seems to be happening substantially in the new relaunch of LoK: Rebirth.
