By far the worst episode I've watched not because of the ex convict but because of how you handled this interview Themba. You were disengaged you appeared uninterested in the guys story some parts of the interview you seem tired. To a neutral person like myself you seem to have judged this individual before he even came on the podcast. You didn't let him give us a clear picture of what created the monster he was, you interrupted him a few times, cast aspersion in his truth, really disappointing. This is no way to treat anyone who is changing his life.
And also pointing out to the fact that he had a "sister" tattoo. He was a bit taken aback by that. Now he'll have to deal with people judging him gore he was a woman in prison. You could see that the guy wasn't comfortable with the topic. A bit of empathy would have sufficed 😮

Thanks for the show, although rape/sexual crimes is a turn off for me in general, I still think theres alot of meat missing from this interview. I think he felt somewhat humiliated when you repeatedly discussed the upping or concealment of contraband as if its something new and dwelling on it. His walls went up & you laughed at him not with him. I look forward to the next one, happy holidays to the team!!!
I too hate sex crimes. The difference between this guy and other guests is that he chose to come out with it. Most violent criminals do actually rape as well and when they come to these shows they will not mention it coz they would not have been arrested for those crimes, they only mention what sent them to jail which is usually other non sexual crimes

The story of a person cannot be butchered the way you do for most of your guests. Allow them to tell their story. You also seem disinterested. These people’s stories give hope and life to people who have given up. There is a reason why God saved him. Allow people to give their testimony their way.

We needed to hear more from the interviewee regarding that, but your follow up was pap joh... The content is niche, but you also need to up your skills as a interviewer.

i feel a different energy from skeem through out the interview. not really the same as the other guests,.almost like he feels the guest is not being entirely honest or he was just fatigued and tired
