Auditors are here not to find something wrong in the balance sheets. The thing is that you do not understand what auditors are for. They are not fraud investigators. Auditors can not check their balance in a bank. If you say you have 3 billion dollars in US federal bonds they can not check it up. Even law enforcement would need a judge's permission. They are here to ensure that numbers are done correctly, that everything is valued correctly etc. Without them, most of financial fraud would end up with: "Ooh sorry, we did not steal anything, our Indian intern just only valued AT1 bonds badly."

On the other hand, successful criminals should be studied for how they managed to do what they did, where authorities can learn how to better keep these things in check. Her company started plotting the embezzlement around the 2010s, which was when we had a very incompetent, greedy, and corrupt prime minister who single-handedly plunged our economy, giving her the first step to do all of this. Other than that, I can say that, on some level, our government actually cares about the people.
Also, thank you for mentioning Nguyen Phu Trong. He wasn't just a powerful figure; he was beloved by the people, which is something we can't often say about politicians anywhere. He brought hope back to the people, and it's been a long time since we've wholeheartedly trusted our government. I see, you are a communist and since you choose, that's the entire country's choice. Tell you what, I am a foreigner who traveled Vietnam extensively and talked with many Vietnamese both domestic and overseas include those who are here in the US (on business/school/temporary visa,...). Many would be so happy if they were given an opportunity to make a choice like you said whether the country should be communist or not. Since you are so logical, rational in your argument, ask yourself honestly sincerely whether the Vietnamese people are entitled to the fundamentally, biologically inalienable right to choose the governance system they live in. If you are so confident that a majority of people would vote for communism, then why not do it for real for the world to see and justify the communist mandate? Even if, say 60% of people choose communist, does that mean 60% have the right to impose their will on the 40% minority? Are you familiar with Alexis de Tocqueville's notion "tyranny of the majority?" Do you know the difference between such an Athenian democracy versus a constitutional republic? I would not have bothered a reply, if it weren't for my heart aching for so many Vietnamese right now who languish under "your chosen communism" and long for freedom and democracy. Think about it. If you love your country, you must love your people, and if you love your people, you must listen to them and let them own the country, not the party.

They constitute a significant community in Southeast Asian countries like Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. They have taken over many important sectors in these countries. Vietnam also has many Chinese people living scattered throughout the country from north to south, with the largest concentration likely in Ho Chi Minh City. They gather in district 5 in HCMC, a place called Chợ Lớn and mostly live as a community.
