Elizabeth's Malibu home is/was beautiful. She loved the outdoors and the house opening onto the lake was all her. It had/has a beautiful exterrior and interrior. The covered bar area is really nice along with the large master bedroom. Bill and Elizabeth Asher's main home, in Beverly Hills, was built around 1932, and i've read it had 26 rooms. Liz loved this home and she would do remodeling over time. This is the home died in in 1995. I also love the Bewitched set. It felt like a real home. The glass wall and patii doors were unique back then. It had four walls, unlike most TV sets, which allowed an audiance. They couldn't do that with Bewitched. With their use of pyrotechnics and flying objects, like darts and spears, it was to dangerous. Some of the actors were burned during the use of special effects. Liz described an incident where she was caught in a pyrotechnic that got very hot. I was hoping you would show one of his Chatsworth ranch homes. He owned several different horse ranches in the area that is now called Monteria Estates (bounded by Corbin to the east, the 118 freeway to the north, Devonshire Blvd. to the south and Topanga Canyon Blvd. to the west (I think.) I have never seen a photo of any of those houses, yet Astaire was part of the Chatsworth community from the 1930's through the 1970's and into the 1980's.
