I had the opertunity to be on the set, where this was shot. In Alcoa State Park. On Tillamook Head. Between; Cannon Beach and Seaside Oregon. I’m in this scene, we’ll sort of. The copter flight had; On Actor, one Locaal Detective and 5-6 extras. Unfortunately; I was the last one out the bird and was left on the editors floor lol. Spent time with Patrick. And because of our moment of present back then. What he shared with me, continues to be with me today… Before I do the Celestial Checkout, life has prepared for me. There is too many plot holes in this movie. Even if they destroyed that monster colony, didn’t they already establish there are a bunch of them across the world and that without the “leader cast” they’d consume consume all the food supply in a short amount of time. The humans he joins and “saves” would never be safe. He and the rest of them would be consumed by the hunter casts

Terrible movie, terrible ending. Why would you give up the pursuit of the love of your life for some very unattractive primitive cave dweller? He had no idea if he could or couldn't save his girl. He literally gave up on her after a single feeble attempt, and went through absolute hell to rescue this hideous person he had just met? Gtfo movie

I say this with respect and without meaning anything. But Mark Ruffalo is too good looking for her. Mark has a certain intoxicating aroma about himself. You can feel it thru the lenses. He should be in more movies. Definitely wouldn’t take back a cheater especially prior to possible marriage.

Im not big on the fancy saccharine sweety lovie love romantic comedies but I've always loved this one. The setup is great, the characters are wonderful, chemistry is on point and its genuinely hesrtwarming and funny. Superb

as an Aussie me and my friends often reference how funny this film is, Bells beach looks NOTHING even remotely close to this and the "Aussie cops" accent is HILARIOUSLY overdone, he actually sounds kiwi if anything. im guessing this is how americans must feel when they see alot of countrys set in america , shot in places like toronto

Sienna guillory is probably not the most beautiful woman in the world but as a 8/9yo when I first watched this movie , her beauty left such a deep impression even in such short screentime that it would made sure that I would always get attracted to similar phenotype as her.

The magic in this scene is the fact he paddled into the lineup in like 3 fucking minutes. Any regular surfer would still be paddling 30 years later into that storm surge.
